Apart from goldfish you'll encounter turtles, cats and dogs. Most animals are in quite small spaces so not really pet friendly. Take the MTR to Prince Edward and walk south towards the Ladies market.

We walked around on the morning of our last day as part of a self guided walking tour. It is exactly what it sounds like - a street where lots of vendors sell goldfish. Go with that in mind and you'll enjoy it.

We visited Flower Market first and couldn't find our way from there. Returned to the train station and followed the signs which brought us to the right exit. When U will start to see a few fish shops, the real goldfish market will be on...More

Several blocks from the Bird Market is the Goldfish Market. When you enter this street you feel you have entered an aquarium…shop after shop selling fish. Fish are displayed on the sidewalk in plastic bags. Some shops specialize in aquarium extras like gravel and water...More

This was a "must see" for me, as I have had fish all my life. As with other parts of China/Hong Kong, there are streets, or parts of streets that specialize in a specific product, such as lamps, chairs, industrial refridgerators, etc. This street is...More

It is very close to the flower market and the bird park. There were a few shops selling fish and accessories for the aquarium. Worth a walk by on the way to or from the flower market and bird park. It does not worth a...More

The way pets are handled here (fish in plastic bags, etc.) may upset some people but it was definitely interesting to see. It's basically one short street. Get there by taking the MTR to Mong Kok and exit E2.

Thought we might go and check this one out on the way back from the Nunnery at Diamond Hill. Very quirky spot but worth a look if you are interested in goldfish and other types of aquarium fish not to mention anything else that goes...More

The goldish street is a place where you can buy all kind of life fish. Its somethimes a little bit sad to see the fish in small bags hanging on a wall.

I was fascinated by the street. There were so many fishes on display in bags, as well as inside the shops. Owners did not care that i was taking pictures of their turtles nor fishes. Pets in hong kong are surprisingly cheap. most fishes were...More
