if you like gold statues in the middle of a cement park - go for it! On a good day the harbour view is very good tho.

Near the HK Convention Centre, this statue symbolizes a HK bauhinia flower (a type of orchid tree which is all over!) and the return to China after the British occupation ended in 1997. There is are flag ceremonies held here daily at 7:50am.

There is nothing particular about the square, just a couple of monuments commemorating the Return of Hong Kong, in front of the beautiful Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The daily flag-raising ceremony at 8 a.m. attracts more Chinese and foreign tourists than Hong Kong...More
