We had a great day on Jungle Jane, everything was perfect and many people commented on how it was probably the best junk they had been on in HK ! The crew were fantastic and took care of everything and I struggle to think of anything that wasn't just right. A really great day!!

We went out on Tarzan to watch the Chinese New Year fireworks and had a wonderful evening. Food exceeded expectations, starting with hot and cold hors d'oevres passed around at the beginning of the trip, and then restaurant standard buffet halfway through. Wine and soft drinks were of an excellent standard and plentiful, with a nice sparkling wine too. The... More

We were guests helping a friend celebrate his 50th birthday. All the crew were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too difficult. Our first experience on a junk that had a BBQ on board. What a great idea! The crew cooked up great-tasting food (lamb, steak, sausages, prawns) served with a healthy dose of a variety of salads. There was so... More

I was part of a large group that ranged from 7- 70 in age and everyone had a brilliant day . The boat itself was gorgeous and had the extra's of a slide an inflatable twister game, noodles to aid floatation and access to a banana boat . The crew were very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks... More

A day out on Jungle Jane has huge potential but a couple of major points made it a disappointment. Crew were generally moody and particularly unfriendly. The cost is significantly higher than other boat companies, for which you would expect top quality service and F&B. An all female boat trip and people were left hungry - all lunch completely finished.... More

Excellent all round, the service was great, the crew were friendly and helpful and the food was good, drinks flowed all night and a great time was had by everyone on the boat. The boat was not overcrowded, there was plenty of room to walk around and mingle with the other guests.

We went with Hong Kong Yachting on their dinner cruise in Victoria Harbour for the October 1 holiday fire works. The food was great and the drinks kept flowing. The staff were fantastic and made sure we all had a great time. The captain went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best view. There were many... More

Having lived in Hong King for almost 30 years and been on MANY pleasure crafts I have to say I was delighted with Hong Kong Yachting and my trip on their boat Tarzan. From beginning to end the service was personable, knowledgable and they could not have done more to make the party I was with feel more comfortable. The... More

These guys are awesome! Very easy going crew and also very professional. When you add all the people you can have on a boat, really a good deal. One of the best ways to enjoy Hong Kong, we had a great company party on the Tarzan, their catering was great too, we had the BBQ and drinks package, totally worth... More

Their contract is terrible, the fine print basically gives them permission to rob you. Which is exactly what they did to me. They require 100% payment a full week in advance of the trip, as opposed to most companies, requiring only 50% in advance, and the balance when boarding the boat. Considering the fine print in their contract, this leave... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centers of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
