I came with a friend a couple of weeks ago and was struck by the hipness of the adornments and decorations on display. There were a good variety of wines on offer while the food was very tasty and well-presented, albeit of smaller-sized Nouvelle Cuisine proportions!

Came for lunch, and they have several lunch options. the food tastes very fresh, ie flavors don't feel like they have come from from pre made pastes, but then again I'm not an expert.
Clear bonus for lunch is that there isn't many people so it makes for a nice quiet lunch. Decor is superb.

We Had a great enjoyable time in this restaurant,the food was delicious,and the service amazing,i found a morrocan girl who is working there "meryam" she's so nice with clients,and very hard working.. she helps us to find a table quikly because we didn't have a reservation!!so because of her we didn't wait for a long time to having a site.

DO NOT GO!!! So, this is a bar which purports to be a restaurant. It cannot cater for a simple group of 20. There were no other covers when we were there. We ordered a fixed menu. After two hours the appetiser came, nothing else for two hours and then some over-cooked tasteless lamb. Morocco is famous for its spices, this place is famous for not knowing what seasoning is. Bad service, poor food. Spoiled my friends birthday. Oh yeah, and one 'meal' (I use the term loosely) and a few beers is hk$1200!!! I've had better at a cha Chan tang and with better service!!!

We are sorry to hear that your recent experience at Lilya was not a positive one. After consulting with the restaurant manager, we believe the matters mentioned were largely due to miscommunications. The fixed menu is ordered at an agreed price excluding drinks, and corkage for bottles brought by guests, hence the extra fee. Regarding the food, there were quite a few last minutes changes with some of the guests’ diet preferences which were not communicated thoroughly in advance. We are sorry to hear that the dishes were not to your expectations. We do take note of your comment and looking to improving our service.

The interior is beautiful and the place has a nice vibe and serves great cocktails.
However, do not eat here. The prices are outrageous given the teeny tiny portions. To be fair, the teeny tiny portions were delicious, but you will certainly be left hungry and with an empty wallet!
I would go back here for drinks but not dinner or even snacks.

Thank you for visiting Lilya, we are glad that you liked our cocktails and atmosphere, but sorry to see that you found our food portions to be unsatisfying. We have created our dishes as tapas size, and the price was set considering all spices we use are imported from Morocco, we are sorry that they did not match your expectations. Firstly, upon entering, the music was pretty loud. I understand it is a lounge, but ideally, the bass should not overpower your taste buds during dinner.
We ordered 2 appetizers and 3 mains:
1. Spinach salad
2. Marinated peppers
3. Cod fish
4. Lamb
5. Chicken
Both starters were cold, and it was not mentioned on the menu, nor by the waitress.
The Waitress was slightly creepy. While waiting for my friend she asked me if I knew what I wanted to order.
The fish came with sweet potatoes, and when we asked the creepy waitress where the sweet potatoes were, she said it was 'mixed into the sauce'. Skeptical, I asked another senior waiter, who said it was 'replaced with peppers'. The first waitress flat out lied!
The lamb was stringly and super band. We asked for salt and pepper, and the texture was like pulled pork...without any flavour and dry. i had no appetite then.
We ordered the chicken, which had salty olives stuffed inside. The chicken was dry and had absolutely no flavour, and to top that, the olives, just tasked tart, sour and simply mismatched. We added more salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, during our dining experience, the police came and hung around the entrance for at least 20 minutes, and then left.
Needless to say, we will never return.

The decor, small balcony and giant model hostesses were all beautiful.
The portions are tiny and not at all filling. Tasty, but we won't be coming back as the prices are extortionate for what you get.
Spinach salad was presented as a square slab. Interesting spices. $58 for a few mouthfuls each.
The chicken pastry was actually 2 spring rolls cut into 4 pieces. Sweet, as it had almond and honey. Tasty but $118 for basically 4 bites.
Beef and lamb meatballs, but were actually spring rolls. Again, 2 rolls cut into 4 bite size pieces. $138. Lovely flavour.
The biggest disappointment was the stuff chicken. It was two tiny pieces of chicken. One was stuffed, the other was just a dry on the bone piece. No stuffing in that piece at all. $138.
We ended up going somewhere else for a proper dinner as we weren't full.

Lunch or dinner this place is awesome !!! the food is just so good. Best Moroccan chicken soup I have ever had. so yummy fresh and tasty . Great service, Mariam the manager is so nice and friendly. Great atmosphere and very chill . Only thing I will say is that a glass of wine at 118 HKD is crazy . That is centrals prices and some.

Discovered Lilya only just recently and it has now become my favorite lounge in HK. The place itself is already stunning on its own but to top it off the cocktails and shisha are great & service is amazing... The perfect place for a fun night with the girls or to chill at after a long day!
