The cinema is located near Yau Ma Tei’s Temple Street (market and Jade Market) and the heritage Yau Ma Tei police station. (MTR station: Yau Ma Tei). In addition to commercial films, it hosts from time to time special theme or international film festivals. It also has a small dvd shop (free dvd rental for members), a book shop and a café (with electricity charge outlet but no wi-fi) which usually becomes fully packed after noon). Free access to toilet. McDobald’s just next door. Round the corner is a 7-11 shop. The Yau Ma Tei fruit market just five minute’s walk away. It is kind of a refreshment centre after a visit to the other points of interests in Yau Ma Tei.…

I was here at Broadway Cinematheque recently to watch one of the high scoring Oscar films and was pleasantly surprised to see that the cafe renovations and upgrades had worked so well. There is an even greater range of a la carte menu items to choose among. English films in nice shopping centre, nice ice cream stall downstairs. If you are going for food before/after there are nice restaurants inside but they're quite pricey, eat in one of the backstreets for cheaper. Enjoy!

One of several chains of cinemas in Hong Kong. Has an arty theatre in Cinemateque in Yau Ma ei. Most cinemas a bit dated with velvet seats and sub par sound systems.

The Cyberport location is one of the largest theaters on Hong Kong Island. I love the buy one get one free Amex option on Thursdays and Fridays. They morning show around 10 or 11 am is also usually half price around $50 HKD. This is the best theater in Hong Kong.
