I took two free tours from this tour group on the same day!
For those who are new to Hong Kong: I took the intro to Hong Kong walking tour and had a lot of fun! Summer was very knowledgeable about the area, history, and religious/spiritual aspects of the city. She made sure that nobody got left behind and that we were all in the shade on that hot day. I went in knowing almost nothing about Hong Kong and came out with exactly what I was promised, a brief introduction. We also got a chance to try an egg tart and they were yummy. I highly recommend this tour.
For window shoppers: I took the Kowloon Markets tour and LOVED it. It was pretty cool to see that if you want something specific, you can go to a specific area and find LOTS of options. I got to see lots of pretty flowers, cute animals, nerd/anime stuff, tech among a few other specialized markets. Andy, the tour guide, knew exactly where we were going, made sure to keep everyone together in the tight markets, and answered the many general Hong Kong questions that I had. Highly recommend.
Hong Kong Free Tours made sure that I had a really fun day layover in the city, and I recommend it if you are looking for something to do for a couple of hours.

I had a great experience on the free walking tour with Andy! His extensive knowledge brought Hong Kong’s history and traditions to life, and I appreciated his insights on current affairs as well. The 2.5 hours flew by as we explored Central, visited St. John’s Cathedral and a temple, admired street art, and enjoyed a stop at the market for tea and the renowned Hong Kong egg tarts. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the city!

Because the tour was free I went in with few expectations, but, wow, the tour was really good. Steven was super passionate, knowledgeable, and interesting. I really appreciated him pointing out good food spots and all the stories that gave us more context. Would def do it again!

I did both the Introduction to Hong Kong and the one in Kowloon- both the same way
different guides and styles, but very informative, fun and easy to complete. As this was my short first time visit to HKG, it gave me a curated glimpse of the city, the culture...and by locals.
Great-thanks

We went on the Introduction of Hong Kong tour. It started at a perfectly reasonable 11:00 time.

The tour guide was excellent, with lots of enthusiasm and good insights. There is not a lot of walking, which is unusual, but adequate. We were very impressed with the quality.

It was an incredible experience, much better than we imagined. The guided tour was very valuable for us to learn about the history of Hong Kong, understand its past and present, learn local curiosities, specific foods and a lot of culture. I recommend it to everyone, wonderful! Our guide called Kiyo is fantastic and very funny, congratulations to the whole team.

The only real advantage of booking this tour was we got to queue jump at the peak tram. When we got there if we hadn’t got Ruby tickets which enables us to jump the queue the wait was 2 hours plus. The guide met us walked us to the station pointing out one old building and the church with a photo of the area in 1854. We then walked to the tram. Once at the top the tour ended. If you can buy fast track tickets you don’t need a guide. Once at the top it was rammed. It reminded us of a theme park with a shopping mall too. We literally went to the top saw the view took afew pictures and came back down, it’s worth doing to ride on the tram and see the view . But if you can buy a fast track ticket you don’t need a guide for this one.

Terry is a phenomenal guide. I did the "Kowloon Free Tour" at the end of 2018 and it was this memorable that I needed to get back to this to write a review! Not only did Terry have a great spirit throughout the journey, but he was efficient and exceptionally informative too. I highly recommend this tour if you're interested in a unique, local experience.

We did four tours in three days with Michael and the gang and can’t recommend them enough. Each tour was of outstanding quality, this is a must do while in HK. Each guide has an abundance of local knowledge that can’t be found in travel guides like Lonely Planet and the passion they possess is infectious.

The fours tours we did were;

1.Walking Tour / Carmen
2.Kowloon Tour / Michael
3.Delicacy Tour / Michael
4.Dragons Back / Bob

We did both the dark side tour and the intro tour. The guide was friendly but he was a little hard to understand. He provided free maps with a lot of information which was nice. The sights were okay. The dark side tour was too expensive for what it was but overall nothing was bad.

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
