Be careful if you want to swim
Nov 2021 • Friends
Amazing spot to take pictures and watch the sun set, even if the whether is cloudy. However, I think it's not really meant to swim. There is no beach, no limitations. As the current is quite strong, even when holding the bars, you can get a bit hurt. Therefore, I think it can be dangerous.

Out beyond K Town...

...you’ll find this small complex which includes some sheds in which to change and a small pier. The views out to sea are very nice and from I’ve seen are incredible at sunset, though apparently it can get very busy.

Beautiful spot to chill
Sep 2019
Popular Instagram spot an easy 10 minute walk from Kennedy Town. Come with a book and climb the nearby rocks to avoid the crowds queuing for pictures. A good place to watch the sunset and experience a bit of zen in the city.

To Do Swim Spot
Aug 2019 • Solo
Well known by the Oldies as the Swim Spot on HK Island。Around 15 minutes walk from Kennedy Town Mtr Station. Some people.might walk pass the entry as there no clear sign to say the Spot is at the bottom so take notice. I didn't get to swim as I visited during the Typhoon Time and didn't wanna risk being pulled by currents by some.oldies were at it lol. Such a gem of a place.

Lovely spot for that Instagram shot
Apr 2019 • Couples
Just take a taxi from the Kennedy train station. It is not difficult to find the entrance to the harbour area. The steps are a bit steep and slippery. Not exactly ideal for old folks or parents with prams. Once you reached the little pier, you just have to follow the queue for that Instagram shot.

Nothing much to do here, unless you're swimming or taking photos
Apr 2019 • Couples
It's quite a walk from the nearest town, or you can jump on a bus. There are about 50 steps down to the jetty, and another back up. Pre-spray insect repellent!

The best place to enjoy sunset in Hong Kong
Nov 2018
A quiet place to take awesome photos of sunset in Hong Kong. Easily accessible! you may walk there from MTR station or take buses or minibuses to go there.

Beautiful

Took us around 20mins walk (under the hot July sun) from Kennedy Station. We were walking there after our dimsum meal at Sun Hing. Just follow along the coastline of Victoria Road and you will see two signs in red and white on your right. It helps that some nicely dressed youngsters were around that area, made it more identifiable. Go down the flight of stairs before u see the shed. There's like a queue some sort to take pictures at the extension. When we went on Sun afternoon, there wasnt much of people. Believe it will get real pretty during sunrise or sunset. Took photos and left via minibus.

Overrated by many- it's literally just a small wooden pier. Very far to get to, honestly not worth it unless you're exploring the area of Kennedy Town. And there are so many people taking too many photos in the hot weather.
