The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is situated in some of the most beautiful parts of Hong Kong. It is definitely worth a visit this top-notch world university. The population in HKUST is considerably international compared to some other places in Hong Kong and speaking English within the site will be no problem. The reason this is a 4 stars instead of a 5 stars is that the architecture itself is a bit old fashion with no special architectural design or consideration for greenery within the buildings (excepts the LSK building which is considerably new). Nonetheless, if you have spare time in Hong Kong, it is always worth a visit to the West end of Kowloon where HKUST is located and enjoy some seafood at Saikung after the long day which is a 15 minutes mini-bus ride away.

it's one of the top 3 universities in HK, it's had modern building, the campus is big and rather new compared to the other 2 older universities. The view is good, the environment is pleasant.

This world famous modern university set in a very beautiful part of Hong Kong offers very good facilities to students and visitors. There are many restaurants and canteens with both local and international menus. There are a lot of free computer terminals and free Wifi throughout the very large university campus. Free water drinking / filling machines are also available on campus.The sports ground comprises an international standard athlete track, football field and swimming pool as well all sorts of sports facilities one can hope for. The university also has a well stocked fish pond(see photo). Supermarket, banks and coffee shops are also on campus.

HKUST, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, is a relatively new and purpose built university in Hong Kong. It is situated in a very nice area with very good sea views and hills. It has very nice walking paths all the way from the university main entrance to the bottom of the sea. Despite its relative young age, HKUST is world famous for its high ranking in the world. For example, its EMBA programme has been the world no.1 for a consecutive 5 years since 2009. It has also been named Asia's no. 1 university for the period 2011-3. It has a very diversed student and teaching staff population. The university campus looks like hotel apartments. It is well blessed and best located in a very crowded Hong Kong environment. Its many canteens, cafes and restaurants offer good value and varied food.
