We have been to Pop-UP several times in the past weeks, having only discovered this place quite recently. What a gem! The shop has fabulous stuff for sale, ranging from massive antique pieces down to Beijing-themed greeting cards. Not cheap, but value for money. Down a few steps is the bar/restaurant/coffeeshop/lounge - whatever you want it to be. Great selection of very well priced wines; delicious nibbles, freshly made poor-over coffee. And the place turns into a cinema, or a hat-making workshop or a sketching class, depending on the time and day. (They have a website for details). It is our new favourite alternative home in Beijing! Check it out - you won't be disappointed.…

To call Pop-Up a "shop" would be such an injustice and very under-rated! It is chock full of beautifully restored vintage items, high-quality replicates and locally made jewelry. Everything is carefully and loving selected. Don't overlook the gorgeous little wine bar with an excellent selection of wines and artisanal coffee, or the many activities that Pop-Up holds on a weekly basis, like Vintage Movie Night and "Sip n Scribble" drawing classes. Wonderfully warm, inclusive and endlessly creative. They also do private events: I did a Thanksgiving Dinner there and it was amazing, from the food and wine pairings to each detail on the table decorations.…

This wonderful place mixes gorgeous authentic Chinese interiors, jewelry and art with a well tasted and thought out wine list, and indigenous coffee that gives back to its origins. A place for gathering, learning crafts, watching old films on a Tuesday night with knowledgable, attentive, delightful staff. If you cant find enjoyment in this joint you have probably had your eyes wide shut!…

A visit always ensures new items on display. A great "Flea" market last week. Staff are always very friendly and professional. Only item for improvement is it takes too long to get a coffee made.

Dear BeijingEye - thanks for your kind review, and your constructive feedback about our coffee! Because we use a very traditional 'pour-over' technique, it definitely takes longer than your average chain-coffee store, but we'll happily take your feedback on-board, and look for opportunities for improvement, without losing the unique quality of a good pour-over! Onto it! Thanks again, and we look forward to welcoming you back - the next Flea Market will be this month! Best, from myself and the whole POP-UP BEIJING family.

When I passed by Pop-Up Beijing, I wasn't quite sure what was inside, til I decided to enter. I was greeted by a very nice lady. She told me that I could just look around, take pictures, and just call her if I needed any assistance. The place has amazing antique pieces (furnitures, paintings, chandeliers, lamps, etc.). On the ground floor, they have more antiques, and also, you can stay for wine (for 60RMB ++ a glass). I just bought a refrigerator magnet for 30RMB. The very nice lady & the guy he was with knows a little English. They also offered me to sit down for a while, enjoy their wifi & asked if I wanted a cup of water or tea, for free! We made small talk about the very windy weather while I was drinking tea. …
