Fasting for emperors
Sep 2019
As the name implies, this is the place where the emperor fasted before the Heaven Worship Ceremony began. Entrance ticket is free, but you need to go to the ticketing office and show your passport for the free ticket. The complex itself is nothing spectacular, just some artifacts for viewing. 20 mins is sufficient to have a quick visit.

Zhaigong - Part of the Temple of Heaven Park
Mar 2017
Located on the west side of the Temple of Heaven Park, inside has some interesting historical artifacts and paintings of past emperors done in a similar style covering about 500yrs. The change in clothes and headwear/hair styles is noticeable.

Palace of Abstinence
May 2015 • Solo
Located within the Temple of Heaven Park, this smallish complex can be visited upon the payment of a small extra fee. It wasn't so crowded when I visited, and was one of the few attractions which was actually open for visitors. The complex itself is nothing too spectacular, but there are a few interesting artifacts to admire. If you have access to a Chinese language speaker you will probably get more out of the visit here as many of the signs are in Chinese only.
