This is the kind of mall I would not expect in the relatively serious capital city. It is light, airy, playful, packed with often irreverent art. Not afraid to tackle contemporary issues, such as the exhibition outside the entrance to the bathrooms about the environmental cost of shark fin soup.

The public art is simply amazing, inside and outside the mall. There is also a wonderful little wine bar, tons of great restaurants, and of course lots of other shopping.

I came on this mall by chance, I thought that the building might be some form of museum, as it in itself, is a work of art. The building is part shopping mall, and office towers. There is a nice food court on the basement floor level, with slightly upscale offerings. Stores seem nice. On this first visit, I spent most of my time viewing the nice sculptures.

I write this review to all people who wants to take money out of ATM machines.
I took 1500 and 2500 yuan at the same day out of the ATM machine of HSBC in parkview green shopping center which is in the same building as the hotel where I stayed.
16 banknotes of 100 yuan were fake. I didn't see it at that moment (because who doesn't trust an ATM) but when I wanted to pay a taxidriver, I had a lot of problems because he noticed it.
I went back to my hotel to explain what has happened. They called the police for me but they even didn't want to come. They said it is a bank problem. A phonecall from the hotel to HSBC learned me that they didn't believe me.
The hotel was very helpful but it is clear that as foreigner, it is impossible to get your money when this happens to you.
THe only trustful bank to take money out of the ATM is the Bank of China. THe ATM machine is in their agency and you can even check your money in the bank with their money counting machines.
Out of office hours, you can also take money with them inside their agency in a closed and safe aeria.
Please take notice about this and share it with other people who you know they want to travel to China.

This is a top rated modern art shopping mall where its billionaire owner shares his art collection to the public. Some pies are Dali's. So most people that come here are from the upper crust. However, try standing in line for a taxi. That is where most of the chaos start. The security guard does not seem to know what the taxi stand is all about. They just let people grab, skip the line or do not queue for a taxi. I had to tell a lady who inserted herself ahead of me that I was standing in line before her and that she had to wait for her turn. Fortunately, she understood English while the rude security guard with a low level of education did not. This is an unfortunate incident which the Parkview Green Mall should take notice. Proper training of their staff is a most for a high end mall otherwise it defeats the purpose. I am sorry that this happens all the time in China.

Parkview Green is a unique combination of Art Gallery, Museum and Shopping Mall built to very high specification with innovative ecologically sensitive design and operation.

It’s worth visiting and enjoying the artistic delights even if you don’t enter the shops.

Even better option is to stay in the Eclat Hotel (separate review) and have an immersive experience.

Nice twist on an otherwise “copy-paste” industry. The artwork is spread out across the mall and you find new ones while you stroll the corridors.

This is a great place to visit... Not just a shopping center as it is filled with art sculptures and has a gallery on the 10th floor.
Lots of places to eat and drink - but the fascination is the architecture and art

An interesting mall to visit with extreme high end stores and odd art all over the place.

On the top floor there is a small free art galley.

I wouldn't go out of your way to visit. However, if you are based in Beijing then definitely go on over for a look.

I went to this mall because of the art, and I thought I would also get something to eat at the same time. Unfortunately most of the art simply wasn't to my taste, apart from a couple of pieces. I then went in search of food and discovered that the food places don't accept cash, only some sort of electronic money.

Sophisticated luxury mall full of artistic statures and other interesting art. Top of line brands, expensive, but interesting to walk around.
