This zoo is very good. It is very Clean and very open. I love the animals and the Pandas. The lake has no barriers so people specially children may fall down but I salute the Chinese people because they respect the yellow line. No kids...More

We went for the pandas but the panda habitat was very small, the zoo was big, I will give the benefit of doubt because it was winter and the animals habitat was sad but I think it was because they were warm

I was put off by the negative reviews posted during during the 18/19 northern winter period. But please ignore them. Beijing in winter is very barron like any cold climate winter environment. Many of these negative comments came from Australian and new Zealand visitors. The...More

Many of the animal pens were empty. It was also strange to see the skeletons of two elephants who had once been attractions at the zoo. They had ring-tailed lemurs in no less than five different pens. It was the same thing with some of...More

We only went to see the pandas. I’ve heard really sad stories about other parts of the zoo, but we didn’t visit most of the zoo. The panda exhibit was very good.

Walked in instantly felt unhappy. Having been to many zoos around the world I felt saddened to see the most unhappy lifeless animals I have ever seen. The only happy animal were the pandas probably because you had to pay extra to get in so...More

Visit the zoo to see the panda's. Nothing special, just a zoo like any other one. The zoo is clean and cheap to visit.

This zoo is freezing and desolate in winter, but we were determined to see Giant Pandas. We were not disappointed. We saw 7 different individuals. The other animals in smallish cages were not remarkable. The staff go to some lengths to make the Panda enclosures...More
