Mall to go if in that area
Dec 2018
It is a more familiar mall that has several shops, restaurants, Starbucks, small eateries (at basement), supermarket. Similar to malls in other countries, but I found some good restaurants here and it was walking distance from the place I stayed.

A nice shopping centre with food and shopping options to suit many tastes and budgets. Also a supermarket beside the food court.

there is food, entertainment and shopping
Jun 2018
It is a small(ish) mall, with plenty of food options. There is also Starbucks and Costa Coffee. You can find some international brands here. HOTWIND is a Chinese store with some really good shoes for men and women. There is also a cinema if you want to catch a movie. It is not a "must visit" destination in Beijing as Beijing has a lot more to , but If you have an afternoon or evening to kill and want to catch up on some shopping then it is a good option.

Spotless mall with good food selection
Oct 2017 • Couples
Next to Dongzhimen station, about 15 mins walk from Dongsi Shitiao station, attached to the Ascott Beijing residences. Familiar brand stores (H&M, Sephora, Zara, Starbucks, Costa Coffee, etc) with good food court. Every floo r has something interesting to see. Neat bookstore with cozy coffee store inside, food court was great - check out BreadTalk for cute cookies & croissants. The sushi from 62 La peche was tasty and 20% off after 9 pm!

go to the duck restaurant on the top floor
Aug 2015 • Solo
Inexpensive and terrific, if you are in this area definitely go to the roast duck restaurant. Just go to the top floor and you will find it easily. Don't speak the language? Don't worry. They've got it down. Not quite as showy as the big names duck restaurants, but quite good and much less expensive.

Excellent Variety
Jul 2015 • Family
For a mall that is not high end luxury, it was a good place to eat and shop. There is the food court in the basement level which has a small supermarket chain BGH which offers alot of unique and western products. We shopped there to buy groceries for the few times we cooked. Other respectable restaurants are scattered on the 4th and 5th floors of the mall. It was very convenient for us to eat and shop there.

Very clean shopping mall
Jul 2014 • Friends
We popped in here, purely to experience the contrast of the modern, westernised Beijing with the historical areas. The mall was spotlessly clean and I liked the fact that the underground took you right into the mall. The shops were very upmarket and we ended up just getting a Costa coffee. Glad I went.

Convenient place to wait for your flight in BCIA :)
Jan 2013 • Friends
We had some time to kill in Beijing before our flight back and we didn't want to get caught in Beijing traffic, so we spent a few hours looking around through this mall and to do some last minute shopping. The prices at the food court are of great value (you can get meals from 10-30RMB!!) Plus points for free wifi.

It connects directly to Dongzhimen station (line 2 or line 13), and is also the last stop of the Airport Express (if coming from the airport).

You can take the Airport Express to the airport for 25RMB/pax. It's very convenient and no need to worry about being late for your flight.
