北京西城区の高級百貨店。地鉄2号線・4号線の宣武門駅から近い。
以前は日本のそごうと中国の会社との合弁の百貨店（日系百貨店）であったが、現在は日本のそごうとの資本関係は無く、商標貸与のみとのこと。しかし、外観、ダブルエスカレーター、店内の噴水など日本の昔のそごう（バブル景気の頃）を思い起こす感がある。
建物は本館と新館があって、北京最大の百貨店と宣伝していたが、北京の消費動向の変化なのか現在新館の2階から5階は閉鎖中。新館1階には高級百貨店？には珍しいコンビニ（ローソン）が新たに出店している。また本館の各階にも空きスペースがちらほら。少し寂しい感もある。
比較的活気があるのは6階の美食公園（レストラン街）と地下1階のスターバックスコーヒーとBHG（北京華連集団）と言う名の国営スーパー。BHGは輸入食品、ワイン、安全な生鮮食品（ただし魚介類は期待しない方が良い）が豊富なので外国人も良く見かける。

sogo是我在北京比较喜欢的一个商场，相比之下东西会比其他商场便宜，东西也不错，顶层总有特价区，可以买到便宜的各种商品，活动多，是真的打折，比较实惠！鞋很多！地下超市很多进口商品，并且非常新鲜！

分南北两个馆，北面旧馆，南面新馆，属于综合类商场，服装、鞋帽、包箱、化装品、手表等等，五层有餐饮，六层小吃类，还有地下华联超市和同仁堂药店等，可以买海参

老牌的百貨商店，如今冷冷清清，人氣之差令人意外。中午除了餐飲區域人多之外，其他地方的顧客真的很少，感覺距離關門不遠了。
