We are a group of 5 couples from different parts of the world. We made arrangements to be picked up and do an overnight trip to Beijing. Linda made the plan for sights, transportation, meals and hotel. Unfortunately, do to the pandemic, our trip was canceled. Through all, Linda was communicative, kind and friendly. We all received our refunds with the same thoughtfulness as our booking service. We hope that we can do our tour in the future. Thank you, Linda.

Where to begin...the china guide thought of everything. Everything was seamless and efficient. We did a night tour of the city, the Llama Temple, the Forbidden City, New and Old Summer Palace and a magnificent trip to Cuandixia Village that was breathtaking and a trip to Montanyu Great Wall. All well done, all wonderful. The absolute highlight and best part of our tour was our Guide Serena. She was knowledgeable about all of the places we went to. Serena offered advice about fantastic places to eat and even took us to get Donkey Burgers. Words cannot describe how wonderful Serena is at her job and how she made a fantastic trip infinitely better. She showed us the beauty of Beijing in a delightful way. I truly felt like we made a friend and would like nothing more than to come back and see more with Serena as our guide. This was the trip of a lifetime and we are better people for having taken it. Thank you.

I came across the China Guide while googling tours for the Great Wall before our trip to Beijing for Thanksgiving. They had very solid reviews and seemed to really want to cater to your wants instead of trying to upsale you things that no one cares for (stops at generic souvenir stores and sub-par restaurants, etc). I emailed them to get a free quote and Liang was prompt in getting back to me for the next few weeks, patiently answering all my questions and helping me curate the ideal itinerary for my siblings and I. We opted for a 2-day tour of Beijing sights and the Mutianyu Great Wall. Our guide, Albert, was phenomenal! He is SO knowledgeable about China’s history and landmarks. And if like us, you don’t speak a word in mandarin, having an English speaking guide with us was SUCH a lifesaver (as was having our own private driver bc getting a taxi in Beijing was almost impossible 8/10). Seeing all these incredible sights while having someone explain to us what it is we were actually looking at was seriously the best. And the food!!! Both days we had the most delicious meals!! Dishes we would never know about or order if we had been on our own. Yes, there are “cheaper” tours out there but as in everything else in life, you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t think twice before booking with The China Guide if I ever go back to China. My siblings and I had an incredibly memorable experience. Special thanks to Liang, Albert, and our sweet driver, Liu!!

We had a perfect tour arranged thru China Guide. Our guide Andy was the best tour guide we could ask for. So knowledgeable and perfect English. I was recovering from surgery and I know we could not have seen or done as much as we did. Every place went had so many stairs and Andy was always there to make sure I was comfortable and saw everything I could in our two day visit. The Great Wall, Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, and The Temple of Heaven required lots of walking and lots of stairs and with Andy’s help I made them all. He even made reservations for dinner that night that was delicious. Working with Linda was easy. She arranged this tour, our tour in Shanghai, and gave us great suggestions on what to do in Hong Kong. I will definitely use The China Guide if I ever return to China.

We went to China for only a weekend and it was amazing. Since the begining while making all the reservation was very easy to do. the first day we were picked up at the airport and took to the hotel (very good recomendation from the company). The first day our guide Rocky Niu took us at the hotel and took us around forbidden city. He was really nice to us, he explained absolutely everything about China, very funny trip. Also I was very suprised when he brought his own camera so he can took super good quality photos for us (we only had our cellphone) so that was ver nice from him, also we couldnt change money at the airport and he helped us by making the transaction with him. The tour is very flexible and with good timing. Thank you for the experience and making our anniversary very special!
