My family have used CCC for group tours, private tours, and a variety of classes and day trips. This is a FANTASTIC company and I can not recommend them enough.

Our latest experience arranged by CCC was a private Dumpling and Noodle making lesson. This was the funniest thing ever as all our family watched an expert chef just spin noodles so easily then promptly made such a hash of it ourselves when we tried. Well apart from my daughter who got a thumbs up for getting a number of strands going. Personally I thought my gooey blob was quite good too.

After the noodles we made dumplings by mixing our ingredients and then rolling out our dough. We had both meat and vegetarian options which was great for me.After making many dumplings they were steamed and served. Five of us ranging from 16 to 82 had a great time. This is also a class they do where anyone can come along too.

As well as an excellent well trained chef and his assistant, we also had a highly capable translator too.

CCC is an amazing organisation that has shown me so much of China. I feel very fortunate to have found them.

My husband and I only had 4 days in China to see the sights, Iris from ccc arranged a schedule which allowed us to see all the main sites in both Beijing and Xi An , including flights to Xi an. We were picked up in a limo with a guide each day and had a personalized service which meant we could see everything and still feel rested: we went to a portion on the Great Wall with hardly any other tourists, for example, and we saw much more than the Terracotta warriors in Xi An. Our guides, Rocky in Beijing and Julie in Xi An were fabulous and flexible . I highly recommend this personalized approach if you really want to see a lot in a short space of time, and don’t want to be with a hoard of other tourists.

I have been living in Beijing for the last 4 months, I have attended many activities organized by CCC: Lectures, Meditation WorkShops, The Beijing Tea Tour and the Boat Tour to Purple Bamboo Park and Summer Palace, all the activities have been very well organized, the tour guides or masters have extensive knowledge on the related subjects, they speak excellent English, and they don't try to sell you anything!, you can really learn and have fun at the same time. I highly recommend it whether you are a foreigner living in Beijing or if you are just a visitor/tourist.

I highly recommend CCC for their day tour of the city and also their other day trips and weekend trips around the Beijing area.

Expert guide, good transport and an opportunity to see a different side to the city and local area.

If you don't want a saccharine rushed standard tourist package, but instead want to see a little more of the real place - then choose a CCC trip!

My husband and I lived in Beijing for 6 years and 3 years respectively. My husband initially took tours through the CCC and recommended them for trips that we took together or by myself. We had take several tours over the years. He did a temple tour during spring festival his first year as well as the harbin trip, and the xian trip as well. We both did the panda tour, harbin, and the calligraphy class. I myself did yangshou and the xian trip.

Over the years that we have taken them they have been absolutely wonderful. I have certain dietary requirements and the CCC went out of their way to make sure that they were followed. Every tour we took was informative and pleasant. They made sure that we were aware of as much information and even answered our questions to the best of their ability. Even when traveling alone they made sure that who ever roomed with me was an appropriate match from within the group. They were very professional and made sure to talk to everyone and see how their trip was as well. If something came up they did their best to change it to make a great trip for all.

I have always recommended the CCC to people that I worked with as there are many expats at my job. Sometimes it was expensive but most definitely worth the price.

I took two classes and one tour with the CCC while in Beijing and can't fault them for the experience. I took the landscape painting class and as a professional illustrator I was hoping for a high standard and not just a tourist focused class. I was very happy for while the class is open to all skill levels it's certainly not a throw away class to keep tourists happy. All the materials are supplied and the teacher was very clear with her instructions, I only wish I had been staying for longer and had been able to take another class as I felt I was only just getting into the style. I also took a calligraphy class which was excellent. I was joined by a girl from the hostel I was staying at who had no previous experience in art or calligraphy and we both really enjoyed the class as we were able to work to our own levels. I have the piece of work I created framed and in my studio.

I also took a tea tour which was very enjoyable and informative. I am a big tea drinker and really enjoyed trying the different teas and learning alot about tea production in China. Our tour guide had excellent english and was very knowledgeable on the topic. The tour included a great meal as well at a local restaurant which did include vegetarian options though our guide vanished for the meal so I wasn't 100% sure what I could and couldn't eat.

The tour was a real delight, attributed to the fact that the hutong tour included a visit to a dear elderly lady's residence in the hutong. This tour stood out because of it's non-touristy approach, instead tourists can get a down-to-earth experience of hutong life. Moreover, I applaud the effort of China Culture Center in partnering with the locals (i.e. Pedicab Drivers) to support sustainable tourism that benefits the livelihoods of locals themselves. Only one area of improvement that could be made would be that the tour guide could have brought the tour group around the National Palace Museum and explain some of the more iconic exhibits, rather than let us roam around on our own. Other than that, I definitely look forward to more tours with CCC in the near future.

My husband and I took a painting class at the end of Jan 2016 and we found it to be a really nice experience.

Finding the location was tricky because CCC moved to a new spot (not updated on google maps). Use the picture on the website instead (they describe in detail how to get there either by taxi or subway)!

The actual experience was interesting because we were the only two adults - nothing bad, but different, since the children kept starring at us :) partly also because we were the only two westerners in the room.

Our instructor was knowledgeable and explained in detail the painting brushes and the techniques of Chinese painting. We had a couple of paper canvases to practice on before we switched to paint the real flowers. We were given 3 basic colors and as we painted, the instructor explained how to mix them, too.

I must say that it was very well organized and we felt very taken care of - this may sound strange, but being in a new setting, where you don't understand much, their approach and way of dealing with customers felt very comforting. When I first got to CCC, as soon as I entered the room, they offered warm water (it was freezing outside) and a place to sit. The lady I met (unfortunately, can't remember her name), showed me a number of activities they have, recommended some for the upcoming weeks, showed pictures of the ones we can't make (so I have an idea of what else may be going on). She also gave me a cotton bag with the CCC logo for the paintings.
As we left the place after the event, the instructor helped us log on their internet network and call a taxi, which was very nice of him.

I am writing to express my delight with the excellent service and high quality of service provide by the China Cultural center. I was looking for a really specific class of Wuqinxi and they put all their effort to make it happened.
I was similarly impressed with the variety of activities they do have and the flexibility they do offer. Congratulations.

Had a fantastic day doing the Great Wall and Ming Tombs tour with CCC. We looked at quite a range of tours but went with this one as impressed with value and we weren't disappointed. Met at their offices then off to Ming Tombs, then lunch then to Great Wall section at Mutianyu. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly but perhaps most of all very interesting chats with her about Chinese culture more generally. Had a small group too of about 6. Nice lunch with range of dishes and tour driver flexible in dropping people off on way back to enable people to catch the subway easier, for example. Would have liked to use CCC for some of their other tours but unfortunately did not have time,
