We spent 3 wonderful days in Beijing, thanks to our exceptional guide, Ryan! Ryan is very knowledgeable and professional, but he is also very thoughtful and caring. Ryan understood from the beginning that we wanted a tour that would take us off the regular tourist path, and he perfectly tailored the tour to meet our desires. He took us to a section of the Great Wall not often visited by tourists, we had a tour of a high-end Chinese winery, we went to a beautiful park and joined the locals in an evening stroll, we walked through several beautiful Hutongs not often discovered by tourists, and we even had the honor of sharing a meal with Ryan’s family. The restaurants that Ryan selected for our lunches were wonderful, and Ryan was always kind enough to find places that could accommodate my over-sensitive stomach. We can’t give Ryan enough praise and highly recommend his services to anyone visiting Beijing.

We were in Beijing for 6 days and hired Ryan as our Tour Guide. We could not have made a better choice. He is a lovely guy, very easy to get on with, speaks excellent English and is easy to understand and his fees are very reasonable. In advance of arrival he answered all our emails promptly. He purchased a few things for us before we arrived and then met us at the airport. He was with us almost non stop for the next 6 days. He made excellent suggestions about what places we should visit and where we should eat. He even invited us to his apartment and cooked a meal for us. On departure he accompanied us to the rail station, helped us load our luggage on the train, showed us to our seats and he had kindly bought a few snacks for us to eat while on the train. Highly recommended.

Ryan was professional, knowledgeable, punctual, helpful, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond tour-guiding and helped us find the right kind of ATM. He also took us to a great local restaurant for lunch.

My twin brother and I had a great day with Ryan, visited Mutianyu Great Wall, Summer Palace, and took photos of Bird Nest stadium. He was 20 minutes late, but totally understandable because of the crazy morning traffic (he actually had got out of home 2 hours before the meeting time!). Ryan was nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable about Beijing, and China in general. He would explain in detail of the places we visited, so we could appreciate the history behind those beautiful scenery. He knew the way to skip long lines to enter Summer Palace, the car provided was big and comfortable, and he recommended good, authentic restaurants for lunch/dinner. He took great photos too, which is a big plus!! :D My only disappointment was not being able to see Bird's Nest stadium from close distance. There was a heavy traffic jam on the way from Great Wall and we arrived quite late, so it's OK. All in all, I will highly recommend Ryan for anyone looking for private tour guide in Beijing. You're certainly going to get more than the price you pay! :D
