We spent three amazing days with Ryan in Beijing! We were very happy we chose him to be our guide, he was always there when we needed help or when we had questions but also let us take our time and enjoy the places. Everything was well organised and Ryan was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions and told us all we needed to know about the sites we visited. He was very attentive and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. Ryan also took us to great local restaurants where we ate delicious food! Whenever necessary he would call in advance to make a reservation. We got so much more out of our trip with Ryan's assistance! Highly recommended!

We have just finished a 3 day tour with Ryan, he tailored the tour for us and our 13 year old daughter. He speaks English very well and his knowledge of Beijing was excellent, we requested that we experience some true culture of Beijing and we certainly have!
We have visited the major attractions as we requested but also spent some time in the parks and open spaces of Beijing watching the world go by.
Our daughter learnt some of the culture and philosophy's of Chinese life. We also called in at the Zoo ad hoc to see the panda's as he thought she would like it on he way to the Summer Palace at his suggestion.
We highly recommend him.

Ryan was our very first guide we have ever hired, and he made the overall experience in Beijing a wonderful one! Ryan is incredibly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and a patient young man - he speaks English very well. Ryan is very understanding of what your needs are, whether you're traveling alone or with family. We would highly recommend travelling with Ryan and would travel with him again in the future.

We, a young couple, contacted Ryan a week or so before we arrived in Beijing and informed him that we would have 2 days free before the start of our larger guided tour. Ryan was very prompt with his email responses, and sent us a recommended 2-day itinerary, the daily guide rate plus a quote for a driver (if needed). His rates are very reasonable and he adheres to your budget.

Ryan's recommended itinerary hits all the major spots in Beijing, but since we were already visiting those areas we decided to visit some of the less frequented attractions. Together we created a custom itinerary that let us experience the more local lifestyle of Beijing. This included a visit to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall - less tourist heavy area of the Wall which made for breathtaking views and pictures.

Throughout the 2-day's Ryan's food recommendations was also fantastic. Again, Ryan will take in account what you're interested in and recommend restaurants based on those factors. One thing not to miss out, is asking Ryan to take you to eat a traditional Beijing breakfast - it's a combination of tofu soup, dumplings, and fried bread. Delicious!

Finally, Ryan is also an excellent photographer! Ryan is well versed in using a DSLR and he took several amazing pictures of us throughout our time together. I never once hesitated to hand him over my camera to take pictures to take shots of us - a photographer's significant other will be very grateful!

Overall, Ryan was fantastic and we highly recommend him for anyone spending any amount of time in Beijing!

After communicating with four guides we chose Rayan and no regrets at all. He arranged a car pick up, excellent , train tickets to Xian, and 3 of the most wonderful days In Beijing of our three week trip to china . Beijing has 30 million habitants and 200 million tourist per year., yes 200 million,no kidding, check it out. We went to areas and restaurants in Beijing we would never have found by ourselves (hot pot restaurant, fantastic, duck restaurant mouth watering,) .you need a guide to get 100 percent of Beijing. Rayans english is perfect , his historical knowledge about the city is vast, he is intelligent, polite and very flexible, nothing is too much for him (the kids loved him). We saw all the main sights, with detailed history. we went to the great wall ,and rayan walked with us all the way while pointing out
interesting details to look at and telling interesting stories .(we noticed most of the other guides don't walk the wall with their clients) and we walked a long way on both the direction , after he took us to a fresh trout restaurant, where they catch the fish in front of you from a big pond, delicious.Choosing the right vacation spot is an important decision. Choosing the right tour guide is an even bigger decision. Don't leave your vacation to chance, choose Rayan. let rayan be your gate way to Beijing, to China, you won't regret it. Thanks Rayan

My wife and I spent five days in Beijing, three of which we spent with Ryan as our guide. It was a great choice and we recommend him to anyone planning a trip to Beijing! We were a little anxious about traveling to China on our own, but didn't want to book an organized tour so Ryan was the perfect option. Just contact him via e-mail and he'll be there, making your trip carefree, interesting and fun. We had such a great time in Beijing and would go back anytime. Thanks Ryan!

I visited Beijing last summer for a weekend and let me tell you that Ryan is a great tourist guide who excels in providing top customer service, besides his knowledge and good communication skills he was always listening to me, trying to figure out what I was looking for and what places I would like to visit. He was on time everyday and all the arrangements were ready, he took me to really good local food places and we experience the subway, bus and taxi services, this way you learn a lot about the local culture and the way people lives. We went to the Wall early in the morning so there were no crowds, it was a great time for taking photos and enjoy a nice walk. Overall it was a great experience, if I return to Beijing for sure I will request his services again.

My family just spent six wonderful days in Beijing! My husband and I travelled with our four young children and my elderly Mother in law. We spent five days with Ryan. He made our trip so easy and convenient and fun! He and his driver were wonderful and patient with our kids who were at times hot and bothered. He took us to all the sites and was extremely knowledgeable. He explained a lot of the history and culture to us. Ryan was flexible and accomodating when we needed to change our schedule etc. He took us to some of the less touristy places and coordinated with the driver to drop off and pick up at our convenience. He also took us to some great local restaurants and was very helpful when we needed supplies and banks etc.
I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking to do Beijing hassel free! Its well worth it and he goes above and beyond to be helpful!

I had 2.5 days with Ryan.
I have booked him a few days in advance via email. He always answered my mails very quick and competent and was very flexible regarding the program (even during the tour there was always the possibility to talk about changes / modifications).
He is very competent (regarding Chinese history and present age).
I can recommend him to everybody travelling to Beijing.

We booked 3 days with Ryan and it was a great choice, he made us feel welcome and more connected with Chinese culture. Without him I'm sure we would have felt like outsiders because we don't speak or read Chinese. He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone travelling to Beijing!
