This company met every one of our needs. The tour guide spoke English well and was very knowledgeable about the history of China. She made it interesting and fun. It was great on the Great Wall that she walked with our grand daughter while we rested on the wall. Every thing we requested was quickly solved and it was like being with a family member.

I don't usually give reviews but this company deserves 5/5. Why? Because they treat you like a FAMILY. I was concerned booking an online tour at first because of all the scams and internet fraud, but I saw some good reviews about this company and tried it. From the moment of sending in the desired itinerary, to planning, to the tour itself, and up to the end of our vacation, their service was just EXCELLENT!!
Trudy (our agent) did an amazing job booking our tour. She helped us customize our itinerary. She was very polite and has always replied in a very timely manner. Pan Xie (our tour guide) waited for 2 hours for us at the airport because our flight got delayed. He welcomed us with smile and professionalism and did a very good job showing us around for the three days that we were there. He was very knowledgeable about the history of each place that we visited and he spoke very good English. Mr. Zhang (our driver) seemed like a very experienced driver. We felt safe from his driving.
I would totally book again with this company. Thanks to them, I have a beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

Trudy was our main contact with Beijing Holiday. Trudy was absolutely amazing. She was patient, kind, and attentive. She answered our questions quickly and appropriately. She did a great job booking our tours. My friend and I wanted to tour Lhasa, but the timing to get the Tibet Permit was difficult. Trudy and her manager spent an entire business day working on our itinerary so we could fit Lhasa into the schedule, changing our flights (they called the airlines personally), buying our train tickets, and going over important travel information with us. Trudy was up for the challenge that our particular needs required. I am forever grateful to Trudy for making our trip to Lhasa possible.
The tour arrangements were great. We were picked up from our hotel, driven to all the different tourist sites, and usually dropped off again at our hotel at the end of the day. The things we did each day were exactly what we wanted to do in each city. We even got to do or see a few other things that we would not have been able to do on our own. For example, we went to a health clinic and listened to a physician talk about the differences between Western and Chinese medicine. We also were able to go to a pearl factory and eat in a local Chinese house.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Great Wall. Everything was organized perfectly and in spite of arriving during the National Holidays our guide was always a step ahead of the crowds. Food was great and we always felt safe. People are very friendly. One thing we noticed is the Chinese system for bike rental: very impressive! Pick it up anywhere and drop it off anywhere. They even rent electric bikes inexpensively.

Hard to recommend. We took the Private highlights tour Beijing-Xian-Shanghai. They were very quick to respond to inquiries and itinerary changes.Guides and drivers were prompt and logistics went smoothly. I had a family emergency and departed before Shanghai and received a fair refund. Hotels were marginal at best. Free lunches were poor. Bullet train to Xian was local, not express (a dozen stops ) Everything was cheapest available, no wow here. My main problem, this was a secret "shopping tour" Paid extra for private guide and driver and they would hurry through sites to get you to shopping stops not mentioned in itinerary. One guide told me she received no payment from company they depend on tips and shopping commissions.

We spent the day with Jerry touring the Mutianyu and Badaling sections of the Great Wall. He was fantastic! We learned a lot from him about the Great Wall and its history, and he shared differences between the two sections with us. He was also incredibly knowledgeable and willing to share other information about Beijing, China and Chinese culture. He taught us useful phrases in Mandarin which was very helpful for the day and for the rest of our trip. We have some dietary restrictions and Jerry was amazing and thorough during lunch to make sure we could eat the food safely. Jerry was very flexible and helped us make informed choices about the day and how we spent our time, including add-ons (like taking the toboggan down!) which cost more but saved time and also a fun experience. Thanks to Jerry we had an amazing day- we highly recommend this tour!!

Booked the tour for my boss for his vacation to Beijing and they had tremendous fun from for the Great Wall Helicopter trip. Jerry was very proactive before and after the tour, making sure the guests have been taken care of. During the trip he also let me know how the guests were, which was very assuring. According to my boss, they had one of the most unforgettable experience in their many time to China.

Making plans and sending any sort of payment to a company ½ way around the world is frightening. That was how we felt when we booked with Beijing Mandarin International Tours. When we arrived in Beijing and met with our guide Linda, all our worries were for nothing. Linda has a great attitude and command of English, she navigates through Beijing like I navigate New York City as a lifelong New Yorker. Linda’s favorite saying is “no problem, I will be there” . This was certainly true as we needed Linda to meet us at 4AM at our hotel to bring us to Beijing West Railway Station to catch an 7AM fast train to Xi’an. I am so glad she was with us, there was no way we could have done it ourselves. We were so happy with Linda we booked extra days with her. When we went to the Forbidden City it was like having a friend with us. She did not just spout off fact and dates she told the story of China and the Dynasty’s. It was so interesting. Also her knowledge if the little facts was amazing. Like why people rub the small dragons in the window sills. Another day we requested to go “off the beaten path” and be with the locals. So Linda took us to Houhai and through the Hutongs and to an amazing acrobatic show. What an experience ! The restaurants she selected were all local and off the charts good. We spent a day learning and laughing. So we booked yet another day with her to go to the Great Wall. We are so happy with the car, the tour and the price we paid for the day. So we are planning to back to China in the Spring of 2018. Linda and Beijing Mandarin International Tours are on our list for sure. This company works hard so you don't have to I highly recommend Beijing Mandarin International Tours and Linda especially.

spent new years day with Mr. Wei touring the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. he went above and beyond and very accommodating. I would highly recommend using this service and him for your visit to the Great Wall.

We experienced a superb private guided tour with the best locations to optimize our two-day compressed visit of Beijing. The amazing success of our tour is primarily due to the impressive dedication, effective planning and flawless execution of our multiple visits by our tour guide, Linda Sun. She has a vast knowledge of factual history, Chinese culture and traditions which she shared with so much interest, passion and impressive communication skills in English. Linda is highly recommended to provide private and group guided tours.
