Very cute. An alley w small cheap chinese stores. Nice atmosphere. Next to drum tower. Ends down at the lake. Then u can take a carriage riksha to take u round the hutongs.

Very touristy and there are more genuine hutongs to stumble on but thus place is definitely very pretty and nice to walk around. River very beautiful.

It is a hutong, there are plenty of public toilets ( as people living in hutongs do not have toilets in their homes). This area has been done up for the tourist, there are bars with live music( some pretty old style) plenty of shops...More

Real beijing feel but nothing social from one hutong to the next it's over crowded on the weekends shops shouting to lure in suckers to buy what they are selling at 5 times the cost

You can find nice bars here, some have live singing band. We had nice evening drinking beer and listening to local music, . Although, it was more expensive then other places

I am so sorry - I wish I could answer your question with an affirmative “yes”, but I can only say “maybe.” I saw antique shops along the street but I didn’t go in.
