I’ve visited this excellent museum twice. Still have not gotten enough of it. More aircraft than you can imagine and more types than you ever knew existed. Wear good walking shoes and take a lunch. Go early so you can have enough time. Enjoy.

Hi, Dad and I are going to Beijing 13th June to the 20th 2019. Would love to visit it but have heard it's closed for refurbishment till the end of June 2019, can anyone confirm this ?

So much to see and do. All of the planed from around the world not just China. Good little shop for souviners haggle to get a better price like anywhere in beijing.

My husband took my daughter to this museum and hired a buggy to drive around, you were able to get up close to all displays and there was so much to see. We did have a mishap the day before trying to locate this place...More

There is an airbase attached to the museum by a long taxiway. The airbase seems to be still be in operation. No idea about the heads.

All days, from 9:00 to 18:00 hrs, except in winters when it opens from 9:30 to 17:00 hrs. It's easy to get a cab for the return trip, since a lot of taxi drivers used to wait outside the parking station for new customers.
