Everyone was friendly and welcoming , the entrance was free & I went on a Saturday afternoon, it was not crowdedness I really enjoyed this exhibition as I’m an urban planner student.

I haven't heard people talking about this place, I just stumbled on it, and I'm glad I did! It is very interesting, you get a chance to learn about evolution of Beijing, and those models are amazing! Plus, it is free if you have a passport (or at least a photo of your passport, that's how I got in for free)! This place deserves more popularity.…

We had a very good time in the museum. It is a very interesting place to discover the evolution of Beijing. The 1st floor is great with good translation in English, then more difficult on the 2nd floor. But do not stop there, the 3rd floor will give you the helicopter view over Beijing (amazing). Look at the size of the Hutong!. Quick tips, do not forget an ID / passport. Entrance was free. You might also consider (for once) to stop at the shop of the museum (good place to find souvenirs)…

Would really recommend this if you want to know more about the size/structure of Beijing. The models are great and really bring the city to life. A lot of the information is in English but not all. We had great fun looking for places we know and have visited. You need to show your passport and then it is free entry.…
