We loved it here--not near the same amount of people that were swarming through the Forbidden City and yet it's equally as nice (if not nicer due to fewer people). Peaceful with a lot of green space, tranquil and just very enjoyable.

So much better than visiting the Forbidden Palace, same style of buildings but there is no one there other than brides getting their wedding photos done. There is some greenery and you can actually go into one of the buildings ( only time we were...More

It was a quieter tourist site. It was a wonderful site to walk around and enjoy. It was not super crowded. Great starting point to get a feel for Beijing and of the Forbidden City.

I may be committing a great dis-service to the Forbidden City, aka the Palace Museum. But my reason for highly rating the Workers Cultural Palace is that it's so quiet and right next to Forbidden City, yet virtually ignored by tourists and locals alike. So...More

I was amazed by the number of people visiting this place. I is an interested visit. My mum disappeared, to my amazement the tour guides got on their phones, texts were sent and they quickly located my mother and returned her. I was so impressed...More
