This is a quieter ski resort, probably because the facilities are not as good as Nanshan. There are enough slopes for a beginner and improver to enjoy and no lines for the lifts but on the downside no really decent food facilities, so probably take your own. Given the choice I'd go to Nanshan from Beijing and not here as its about the same distance out of town.
