The mall is stunning in the evening because of the LED ceiling outside. It's great for taking pictures or even for just going for a stroll.

The mall itself has the usual shops and food options, as with many other malls in Beijing. It is on the bigger end of the spectrum of malls in the city, though, so you won't find yourself bored in this place. Most brands here are foreign/international (e.g. Muji, Zara, H&M, Victoria's Secret, Starbucks, etc. There are many local options for food together with a few international chains.

I have been living in Teda, Tianjin for 2 years now...I am from England so when I heard that Marks and Spencer shop was finally going to open in Beijing I was super happy - it was worth the trip! Lots of imported goods from England, lots of yummy finds! Also clothes were all in English sizes too (and proper bra sizes too!!!)...sometimes hard to find in China! This is a great shopping Mall, light and clean, nice toilets too! Another good find was a great bookshop that had an English section for kids (another hard find when living here!) well worth a visit!!

This place is known for 1 thing - it's overhead huge screen that stretches for roughly 100 metres!. Different themes are played & makes for a nice picture wz it's many kinds of lightings!. It's also surrounded by lots of eateries & cafes - Paris Baguette being my favourite among the lot. Shopping centres lined on both sides wz many established brands like H&M & Uniglo among others. This is definitely a good place for that memorable family or group photo!.

Behind this part - behind the bldg. that house Paris Baguette is World City where more restaurants await. One of the better restaurant(my opinion) where you can have good hotpot is Douxi located on the 2nd floor(above Take 5 restaurant & bar).

Getting to this place via subway :-
1. Stop at station Yong Anli(Line 1). Exit & walk towards Xiushui Mkt Mall. ***There is an underpass from station to Xiushui Mkt mall directly. It will lead to the ground level of Xiushui Mkt Mall near to the front entrance where KFC & CasaGusto Pizzaria is located.

2. Once at front(outside) of Xiushui Mkt Mall - take the road to the left of Xiushui Mkt Mall(it will be your right if you're facing Xiushui Mkt Mall at the front). Fyi, the front(outside) of Xiushui Mkt is where most tour coaches are parked(big parking lot while the back of Xiushui is small area). Also, another location point to where the front of Xiushui Mkt Mall is - CasaGusto Pizzaria & KFC are located on the leftside near the front of Xiushui Mkt Mall. Take the road that is next to it heading towards the back of bldg direction.

3. Walk all the way to 2nd traffic light(abt a good 12-15mins walk). Once you reach junction of 2nd traffic light, make a right turn & walk for abt 5 mins & you will arrive at this place. Going back is just the reverse.

Imagine a whale 70 metres long swimming through a deep blue sea, surrounded by as many kinds of fish of all colours. Imagine a space ship landing on the planet Mars. Imagine a submarine cruising through the ocean. Well, you don't have to imagine if you visit The Place in the Community Business District in Beijing, in the evening. You can stand in awe gaping up a 100 feet above you at the football size screen which rests on massive columns. Nowhere n the world are you likely to see such a creation, and whether you dismiss it as over the top materialism, or fantastic entertainment, it is certainly worth seeing. Even watching the Chinese people enjoy themselves in the massive space is a joy to see. If you fancy a different evening out, sit by the window in the Cigar and Wine restaurant; listen to the Jazz music, and wonder at the show above you. Beijing at its best.

It looks like The Grove or Third Street Promenade in Los Angeles...but it’s absolutely devoid of life. There is no fun or liveliness to be had. The outdoor area is flanked by indoor malls, with a mix of standard brands like H&M and Zara. The best part of this place is the food court UNDERGROUND. But there really is no reason to come here.

Quite beautiful at night. Tons of ads on the Tv screen kind of ruin the beauty.

You do all your brand shopping here as well. There are a few good foreign restaurants here.

There is a movie theater near here as well. Just a hang out place where you can grab a cub of coffee with your friends and sit down and chat.

Summary
-Hang out place for people

Not only did we get a wonderful show of Space Travel accompanied by The Planets (Holtz), we also found THE BEST Indian Restaurant in the basement beside Starbucks. The variety was outstanding, the quality above average and the prices great value for money. Great evening had by all

It has a huge copy of the Las Vegas LED ceiling, and is full of extremely over-priced and poor tasting cuisine. The coffee shops are horrible there. Right now there is a nasty big pink princess castle that serves no purpose in the middle of the outdoor walkway area. There is no need to go here at all, certainly when there are other, better sights very nearby.

Yes, come at night time and experience the visuals above on the titantron thingy. Other than that, its really just another shopping mall. If shopping is your thing and you want to see a cool show, yes, come through here. If you are passing through the area, stop by. Other than that, I wouldn't say its a "must see" but sure, its cool.

PROS:
-Cool visuals
-Nice mall
-Near train stations
-Come at night

CONS:
-Just another shopping mall
-Not a place I would say is a "must see" or to go out of your way to see if you are visiting Beijing
