The tour group China Spree was a high quality affordable tour that took us from Beijing to the Great Wall and many other attractions. It was an outstanding trip.

We used this company, also known as Tours Beijing, to transport us from our ship in Tianjin to Beijing and to the airport at the end of our stay. While in Beijing we also contacted them for a tour to the Great Wall. Their service was first class, always punctual and professional. The guides, Roseann, Jennifer, and Abel, were helpful and informative. Their english was also very good. Transportation in a foreign counntry can sometimes be trying, but this company exceeded our expectations and we always felt that we were in good hands and would be where we needed to be. Highly recommmended. Also their rates are very very competitive.

Cruise Ship to Beijing City,Temple of Heaven, Silk Worm Factory, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City ,the Great Wall at Muttanyu and the Jade Factory. with 2 lunches included. return to the ship. Choice of hotel standard
.
Just finished a very successful two day Beijing tour collected and returned to our cruise ship with Beijing Tours guide.
We were a little apprehensive as we couldn't find many recent reviews about this company and the thought of sending a deposit of half the tour cost to a total stranger in a country noted for scams was a little daunting .After many reassuring emails from Daniel Yan we decided to sign up for the tour. We certainly were not disappointed. We were met at the ship along with 25 other unknown passengers from our boat and met our very capable tour guide Lisa who spoke good English and was a wealth of information about China and the locations we visited. She was a great organiser and kept us moving to ensure we got the most out of our tour. She also managed on the go to arrange a porter and wheel chair within 15 minutes when one of party became incapacitated during a long walk through the Forbidden City. The bus driver was also very capable and seemed to have a sixth sense as to which lane would give the fastest progress in peak weekend traffic. Although the tour offered three standards of hotel Daniel was more than willing to allow us to choose our own which was' The Prime' 5 star at a budget price. Groans on the second day when were told we were to be picked at 7am but this was a sound decision as we toured and finished the G reat Wall just as the great mass of tourists arrived. Great decision. Included in our tour was a visit to two state run businesses, a silk worm factory and the next day a jade factory. These were both very informative and not as nearly as onerous as some previous reports suggested. We bought nothing at either location and weren't pressured to do so.
Warning there is a bit of walking involved so if you have had a recent joint replacement or require a walking frame this is not the tour for you.
The only possible improvement to this tour could be the inclusion of a coach that has a toilet.
This tour was excellent value and was about a quarter the price of a similar one offered by the cruise liner.
Get a quote you will be pleasantly surprised.
Would I go with this firm again...absolutely.. Thanks Daniel and Lisa.

I hired Beijingtoursguide in December 2015 for my second time on a 20 hour layover to Seoul. You can do a LOT in 20 hours! The person who does the emailing, Daniel Yan I think, was VERY receptive to all my questions and facilitated quickly, my requests. Since it's all about the guide in the end, I was sad NOT to get my original guide, but instead I had the remarkable TONY who was every bit as good, keeping up with my fast talking English, and willing to do whatever I wanted to do. He took me to the WALL in the morning before a 1 pm flight out, and we had a great walk (or should I say climb up steps!) all by ourselves, and there was not a single tourist around! The day was magnificent with clear blue skies even though a week earlier there was level 5 smog at the airport.
I had two layovers, and wanted the guide three times, morning and evening, and that is just what happened. I thought the price was fair, being as how I searched for a very cheap hotel and got it! and used the savings on the guide service. TONY arrived early to pick me up from my hotel and it was like greeting an old friend! He had no trouble keeping up with my slang and fast talking English!

Again, Daniel is so quick to respond, and his guides are wonderful. What more could you ask? They also do Shanghai and I'm not sure what other cities so try them out!

Beijing Impressions Tour went above and beyond our expectations. First of all, Tony was exactly on time and picked us up in the hotel lobby. When we walked out to his car, he gave us water bottles and put our bags away. On the hour long trip from our airport hotel to the Great Wall, he told us all about Beijing and the Great Wall but also about himself and daily life in China. We appreciated the fact that he answered any questions we had but also didn't make anything awkward by overly communicating. When we got to the Great Wall, I realized I had lost my American debit card. It was our first day on our month long trip and all my money was in that account so naturally I started to freak out. Tony assured me we would find it and even used his personal cell phone to call the hotel and translate for me by asking if I had left it anywhere and they told him they would call back if so. We proceeded with our tour and I almost forgot all about my lost card because it was so much fun. Tony was knowledgable and funny and took lots of photos for us. I would definitely recommend taking the cable ride up and the toboggan down instead of walking, it was so cool! We drove back to the hotel and that's when I started to really worry about my situation. Tony insisted that he stay and help translate so we could figure it out faster. He carried some of our bags around while we frantically searched the hotel bank and stayed with me until we got it back (I left it in an ATM, sigh). He was SO helpful and really exceeded his job as our tour guide. If you're looking for a great guide and someone who genuinely cares about your experience, Tony is the man. And if you're reading this, thanks again!

When finding out we had a 13 hour layover in Beijing, we expolred different tours we could take while in China. We found this small company online and easily booked our tour via the internet. Upon entering the airport we went through the process of the 72 hour visa. (Very simple, nothing required in advanced) Our tour guide was waiting at the exit lobby. We took the 45 minute drive to the Great wall. During this ride our guide explained the cultural norms and a little bit of history of China. At the wall we paid for a chair lift ticket ($13 USD) and took the lift up. We were one of the first people on this sction of the wall. It was a breath taking experience. while on the wall our guide walked with us and gave us information about the wall. We stayed on the wall for a little over an hour. We took the lift down and rode back to the airport. Overall this tour was an awesome way to experience China in the short time we had. Great guide, transportation, and great views. I would highly reccomend this company to anyone that wants to tour the Great Wall of China.

My husband and I used the company for transportation from airport to hotel, The Great Wall Tour, and a 2 day tour to Xian. Everyting was perfect - all guides were on time - pleasant and flexible. When we were on our own we were constantly being pursued by scammers. All their prices were reasonable and very clear on fees.
I was really impressed when we were met at the airport at 1am after a 2 hour flight delay.
I highly recommend this company.

My husband and I went to Beijing on a holiday with our 3 young Children. Our tour was organised by a local agent in Sri Lanka - Hayleys Travels. agent. Our guide Hannah was superb.Very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time climbing the great wall of China. It was freezing cold but a lovely experience. Our sons Ryan Matthew and Mark climbed several of the towers.I managed to climb one of the towers.Anyone who visits China should see the Great Wall of China. Its an amazing man made wonder. We just got back from our trip with Beijing Impressions and we had a great time. The tour guide Michael was very courteous, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and helped us immensely. This was also a good deal because the price was all-inclusive (except for the gondola ride, which they clearly tell you upfront.) We really liked the aspect that we were not taken on shopping stops which can happen on other tours. We went to a few different sections of the wall and in-between we went to a local restaurant where Michael got us several good dishes and made sure we had plenty to eat and drink. And our driver Mr Yu really zipped us around place-to-place which was nice. We would hihgly recommend using this tour company and we definetly will when we return to Beijing.

Make sure you arrange to go on a clear day if possible. Get a taxi for the day with private tour guide, its more practical and works out to the same cost as a tour bus, without the inconvenience of having to wait for other tourists to board and toilet stops etc. Unfortunately, we went on a cloudy day, couldn't see the wall, besides the immediate wall in front of us. wear comfortable shoes and take bottle water..impossible to see it all in one day at anytime lots of walking and some areas of the wall need repair..Overall, a great experience anyhow.
