Aventure Safaris' preparation, execution and professionalism for this tour (& another I did with them in 2019 to N. Kenya) was outstanding, dependable, flexible to the ways of 3rd world adventure and, most of all, an absolute blast!

We are a group of 9 guys who have been on motorbike trips for 17 years on a row. We have been many places but never to Kenya. We contacted Fred and from the beginning we experienced professionalism, engagement and cooperation. Fred tailored a 7 days trip for us, and we had a wonderful time. So many experiences in beautiful Kenya.

Many highlights, among those the stay at the Masai camp, very interesting to hear about and see the culture, a real experience far from the touristic programs we read about. Also Fred managed to mix the accomondations from simple to nice, and everyday was a real adventure.

The staff that went with us (a guide on motorbike and a support car) was so nice and friendly, and really knew their stuff. Never a bad word, but patience, outstanding service, humor and professionalism.

We had a fair amount of challenges on the way, punctures, muddy roads, an agressive elephant, but it was all so much fun and we felt safe and taken good care of all the way. On our previous trips we spend a lot of time on the motorbikes, some time too much, but Fred had arranged this trip so we had time for some game drives, lunches and nice breaks in villages etc., so overall it was perfect.

My best reccomandations to Fred and his outstanding staff. Second to none.

Many thanks Neils for your good comments, we were delighted with my crew to make you discover the beauty and charms of Kenya; the cradle of man kind and bed of hospitality... We are looking forward to leading you and your team next time in South Ethiopia for further adventures as it is said if the mountain won't come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain... Cheers, Fred

This is the group's second trip with Fred, Previous one was 4 years ago, so that tells you everything.

As at the previous trip (thru Kenia) Everything was well planned and we were greatly attended from the minute we landed at Kilimanjaro until we left a week later.

Fred and the crew are great, routes were not hard or over challenging, and we felt very safe at all times.

Accommodations were nicely chosen, simple, yet authentic.

Machines were constantly maintained, and although we had one or two breakdowns, we were immediately given a replacement bike and kept going, without delays, while the crew resolved the issue.

Overall, great trip, we will return.

It was our first off road trip and Fred's crew made this experience unforgetable for us! Every day a good laugh, excellent food prepared by Peter who ensured, we get fit for our exciting journey through the beauty of Kenya! Pure nature, animals along the way and lovely places we have discovered through our itinerary from Nairobi - Selenkai - Amboseli - Lake Jipe - Taita Hills - Diani Beach Mombasa. Theo did his best to adjust the 250cc motor bike for my height, as I am only 1.56 m tall! My partner and myself loved our stay at Leonard camp, hosted by a real Masai who loved to share his culture with us during a campfire. A unique experience which you can not book else where than with Fred! Lake Jipe where you definitely see many Hippos near the camp. We absolutely loved the privacy we had at each places, far away from all the tourists crowed and still had all the comfort, which made our tour magic! Thank you Fred & crew, we will highly recommend your agency to our friends and families, greetings from Switzerland

Having arrived in Kenya in the hope of purchasing a motorbike it quickly became apparent this was touching on the fantasy side of life. A number of deals fell through and I was frustrated and unnerved. I did not want to do a tour thinking it too organised/restrictive or skill levels too mismatched. My off road experience was limited to a couple of training camps a short trip in Asia which had been some years previous.

I touched base with Fredlink Adventure Safaris and Fred was quick to respond and helpful to the last. I told the guys what I was looking for, 5 days from Nairobi to Mombassa and it was important I saw and felt the real Kenya.

Alex met me some days later in Nairobi and he was wonderful companion throughout. It felt like hanging out with a mate and he was happy to off road adrenaline style or simply take in the sights and trot along, whatever suited my mood. That was a huge benefit.

If wild Elephants grazing by your tent and real life 'zebra crossing' doesn't take your fancy then perhaps the great lodges, wild Giraffes cutting you off or endless wildlife of every variety, be it Hippo, warthog, crocodile or chameleons (that do change colour trying to cross the road) will simply put - turn you into a Peter Pan.

What Mecca is to Muslims, Star Trek to geeks, cricket to Ozzies and Guinness to the Irish, this is the ultimate biking adventure but with a safety net in the form of Alex.

Without question Alex was an integral factor of the tour for me. Fantastic company throughout it would not have been what it was without him. His English perfect, a local Kenyan from Mombasa, he helped me with my irritating questions about wildlife, culture and off road skills.

Fear not - the office will never be further from your mind.

Enjoy and rubber side down ;)

For me off-road motorcycle trips are the best and the only proper way to travel, as it allows one to get to places very remote and hard to be reached by other transport and gives one a chance to be not a tourist, but rather an explorer. And the trip to the Northern Kenya organized by Fred felt like a real expedition into the heart of the country. This journey away from civilization and usual tourist trails turned out to be a great adventure, with all the possible risks contained and managed well by Fred. I did a few similar off-road trips in other countries, but this one was the first one extremely well organized, with a support vehicle and a crew of mechanic, cook and doctor following us through the hard terrain and making the experience easier and safer. The roads (or sometimes complete non-existence of such) were a real challenge and required a lot of hard work and concentration, this - as well as Fred's tips - allowed me to upgrade my riding skills considerably. The scenery was beautiful and diverse ranging from savannah to mountains to green valleys to big lakes to very arid deserts. We saw quite a lot of wildlife including zebras, giraffes, ostriches, baboons and many other. But the best part of all was seeing and interacting with local tribes - Turkana and Samburu - who seem to live how their ancestors lived hundred of years ago. The feel was very surreal, like being in a National Geographic or Discovery channel movie. We also had a chance to be socially responsible travellers and help some of the schools and kindergardens with stationery and donations. I will certainly come and do it again - to see other parts of Kenya as well as neighboring countries - as once you try it, you will never get enough.

This trip really does set the standard for adventure riding. It is a total off road experience where you cut through the middle of Africa. Past tribesmen with spears you thought no longer existed. Past herds of giraffe, zebra, impala, ostrich, all in completely natural unscripted settings….. Contrary to news reports it is all completely safe (except the hippo's ). And, due to the news reports, you will have the place completely to yourself. Go ! Now ! Before the tourist hordes find the place !
