Peaceful enjoyable afternoon

If you have a hour or so to spare, this is worth a visit, the temple is clean, and looked after, it certainly makes you wonder about the years gone by.

I eventually just walked past... More

I grew up in Mombasa but this was the first visit in over 30 years. This temple still has the power to awe. The coolness inside is inductive to prayer. Very intricate carving inside .

One of the oldest Jain temple out side India, recently completed 50 years. Located in old town area and easily accessible. Holy place for all devotees and followers of Jainism.

This temple is not easy to find. Even with local Kenyan taxi driver, he had to ask so many people before we found the place. From outside it is not easy to recognise, but inside it is exquisite and serene and peaceful place. I recommend visit to this temple to all Jains and Non-Jains.

The Oldest jain Temple in Africa has a social gathering area for all the followers of Jainism . Myself being a jain . I feel proud of such achievement outside India . The Jains and tHe oshwal community at large have done a fantastic job
