An absolutely beautiful place with white beaches and stunning, warm blue sea. The locals are very poor and will swarm you to sell you lots of different things. Stick with a tour guide and you can't go wrong. Definitely give snorkeling a go.

On our last visit to Kenya we wanted to try our luck in deep sea fishing and found a superb fishing boat Inca captained by Mr. Eligio Battaia. He is a real professional who knows everything about the fishing. We had a wonderful fishing experience with him on the coast of Mombasa. We caught some lovely Tunas and were happy with our catch. Next time we hope to catch even Sailfish, Dorados or Marlins among other big gamefish. En route to fishing grounds, we enjoyed an excellent view of Mombasa historic Old Town. We were so impressed about fishing with Mr. Battaia that will make another trip later this year. His website: www.sportfishing.co.ke

I fished on the Tarka with skipper Callum Looman out of Watuma. It was the first full week of the season and many boats were not even out on the water yet. I was here on vacation and just came from a safari and didn't want to pass up the opportunity to go fishing, so I took the chance and went out. Callum has fished these waters for many years and despite having no fishing reports from other charter boats, used his experience to find the fish. We were after the Black Marlin and although I didn't catch one, I did catch 3 sail fish and a tuna. His crew were go getters, always changing lines with fresh bait and managing so many rods all day long. Callum even picked me up in the morning from the place I was staying and fileted the tuna which my family and I ate the next day. I had a great experience that I will never forget.

I have fished with Eligio and his crew on the INCA several times with my wife and once with the our young son . I can truly say he works hard to put you on fish and his crew are some top notch deck hands. I fished with him twice out of shimoni and we absolutely killed the Whaoo,dolphin and jumped one marlin and leader-ed a nice sailfish. I fished with him once out of Mombasa with my wife and young son (8 yrs) old in really ruff sea's and he still managed to find some fish.

6 hours fishing, deep sea i mean.. was very successful getting 5 tuna, an one king fish , 2 red snapper

Excellent staff and highly qualified and well trained too. It is an experience that i will never forget. They know how to captivate the guest who go deep sea fishing.

The fish are indeed in the waters of Mombasa. If you can stomach a bumpy ride and test your patience to the maximum then deep sea fishing is most satisfying.
