I had a great trip with 2 of my kids. Walter picked us from our hotel in the morning and brought us back afterwards. The fishing trip itself lasted 6 hours, and the 2 man crew was very professional and good with the kids. We saw hundreds of dolphins as we sailed around, and after 5 hours we got a fish. It was a 120cm long Black Cobia. This fish was shared, and we had the hotel cooked our piece the same night. That was an amazing dinner. Definitely an experience the kids and I will never forget!…

Went out for a 6hr trip, was told by the booker that great conditions were to be had. Immediately after clearing the creek we could see that this wasn't to be the case. 3m swell with 2.5m waves and a force 6 wind meant a brutal ride as the boat rocked hard in every way; really not for the feint-hearted. No explanation of what we were looking for, no live bait and we simply trolled up and down the coast for 4hrs using lures until we'd had enough and asked to go back early. Didn't even get to hold a rod and not a nibble to be had apart from landing two plastic bags, which sadly were thrown back into the ocean. No safety briefing, though I found the 'life jackets'(buoyancy aids) myself. I appreciate this time of year isn't peak fishing season, but I'd also appreciate being told what to expect at the time of booking, rather than taking the cash and going out regardless. If we'd had children with us, this would've been a terrifying experience for them. Walter seemed like a nice guy when we met him back on shore, but would recommend a little up-front honesty. It was simply a waste of time and a lot of (our) money to take people fishing in those conditions.…
