Choosing the company Best Memory Safaris gives you a guarantee of excellent services at a very favorable price, wonderful experiences, great organization, a very operative approach to our requests, 100% reliability and professionalism.
Choosing this travel agency ensured that eight of us travelers experienced one of the most beautiful holidays.
Isaac was great from the first email contact to our departure back home from Kenya. He always responded to our questions immediately, changed our travel plans according to our requests, and even during our vacation he provided other services that were not related to our safari (buying train tickets from Mombasa to Nairobi, sightseeing in Nairobi, etc.).
The drivers of both cars were amazing, Anthony is a great driver and guide in one, but most of all he is an amazing person. The same goes for the driver of the other car, which was Tymi. During the eight days of our safari, we became almost family. Both drivers have a great knowledge of the local wildlife, they can spot a lion or a cheetah in a completely confusing terrain and they were always at the right time and in the right place, so we managed to see a hunting lioness and a herd crossing the Mara River. Thanks to the great work of the drivers, we saw all of Africa's big five. Once again, we thank Isaac, Anthony and Thymoti for the unrepeatable experiences, and if anyone is deciding in whom to entrust the organization and implementation of their holiday in Kenya (safari), we definitely recommend Best Memory Safaris. We will recommend them to everyone we know.

Amazing trip with memories to last a lifetime. The personal and private service that Best Memories Safaris provided was fantastic, taking care of us from the minute we landed in Nairobi at 1am in the morning to taking us to the airport in Mombassa after a few days at the beach in Diani at the end of our trip.
Anthony was our driver and did a phenomenal job, his knowledge of the areas we traveled and the animals we saw was amazing, when you spend up to 12 hours a day in the Land Cruiser with a person you don't know could be difficult but Anthony made it very comfortable and we really enjoyed our time with him.
We did one night in Lake Nakuru, 4 nights in Masa Mara at camp Mara Eden (highly recommend this camp) then Amboseli and Tsavo East before relaxing at Diani beach for the remaining 4 days.
When I started planning this trip I checked out some large companies with fancy advertising and glossy brochures. but the best advice I can give you is that your not going to get better value for your money and quality of service anywhere else. Issac was fantastic with planning and customizing our trip to maximize the experience.
I will be honest, I had many reservations and concerns about dealing with a small independent operator in Mombasa that has a PO Box in the address and required wire transfers for payment, every red flag was telling me I could be setting myself up to be scammed, I can say 100% that was not the case, Issac was very professional and accommodating with every step the planning and always got back to me within a day and actually researching reviews on Best Memory Safaris convinced me it was safe to do business with Issac and Best Memories.
We had such a fantastic experience we are returning in January 2024 and yes we will use Best Memories Safaris.

Antony was excellent in animal tracking. Could saw Lions and Cheetah many times. In fact we had kind of National Geographic experience when Cheetah hunted the wild beast. Could see lots of animals including big five just except Rhino. All the lodges and tents were amazing with very good food. We saw Hippos roaming in Lake Naivasa Country Club. Salt Lick Safari Lodge had excellent animal watching all day long. Very unique experience.
However, I found that their management was worst.
For lunch had to wait more than half hours in a crowded place. Room was not ready even at 2: 30 pm. If they could improve their management, I would still recommend Salt Lick Safari since their animal watching from the room, bar, restaurant- all were excellent experience.
Overall, we had un-forgettable best memories, no doubt. Isaac was very responsive from the beginning. Many times he showed flexibility of editing plans based on my request. He agreed on full payment after arrival and no prepayment. Also, I found that he offered a competitive price in comparison to the other operators I approached.
However, I found that their management was worst.

We have taken many trips around the world mostly using travel agencies. However, we decided to try and hire someone locally this time around which was daunting and a bit scary. After much research online, we narrowed down our options to a handful of companies and finally decided on "Best Memory Safaris' mainly because of high reviews at first and later because it was so easy to tailor the trip to our needs and wants, the highly rated accommodations and the excellent customer service we received from Issac. I am so glad we made this choice!
From our pickup at the airport at 5:00AM on day #1 to our drop off after 12 days of safaris went without a hitch and was probably one of the best trip we have made. The experience was above and beyond what we expected. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, safe and we were always met with friendly staff and the food was amazing.
One of the best parts of the trip was our guide Michael without whom I am not sure we would have seen the wildlife we saw and experienced numerous awe inspiring moments almost every single day. We never once felt rushed or unsafe during the trip. Michael was an excellent safe driver which we were thankful for after seeing some drivers racing by us!! He knew the ins and outs of all the six parks we visited and has excellent knowledge of the wildlife.
We experienced amazing moments such as a pride of lionesses with their cubs lazing around, two lionesses sleeping while the cubs played in a nearby bush, three male Lions probably guarding their pride, a mating couple just next to our jeep etc etc. We even experienced a Lion guarding his overnight hunt which was a buffalo and a wildebeest!! It was amazing to see herds of beautiful elephant families passing right by us, behind our accommodations (with electric fences) etc etc almost daily. We saw two types of rhinoceros with their families, different types of giraffes, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, flamingos, pelicans and other birds, we saw one beautiful cheetah walking in the savannah, but the most amazing of all was when we saw a cheetah kill towards the end of our trip. We saw it lay eyes on its prey a poor dik-dik, lay in wait for it, capture it and enjoy its meal!! Michael somehow hear about this cheetah sighting and got us there in time to see it all!! Asante Sana Michael.
Almost forgot the beautiful people of Kenya we met along the way including the two Maasai bomas. Unforgetable trip!

Our group of 5 traveled from the US to Kenya during the pandemic. Isaac guided our experience and we had an unforgettable time with Best Memory.
We experienced the busy city of Nairobi, we went on safari in the Mara, Mombasa and the coast. We did so much during our experience. I highly recommend people spend at least 10 -14 days with Best Memory to get a complete understanding of Kenya. They worked really hard to make sure we saw as many animals as we could while on safari.
Our group saw more of the country than many of the locals based on what some of the locals told us. Isaac is also very well connected. He was able to connect a couple of people in our group with a strategic partner.
I can not say enough great things about Best Memory Safari other than you should trust their knowledge, expertise and book with them.

Researching, organising and paying for a Safari to a company based in Kenya when you are in the UK can be somewhat daunting but you can rest assured that with Best Memory you can trust them to deliver what they promise. Our expectations were totally exceeded.
Isaac was helpful and responsive from day 1. Helping us to determine the best itinerary for our 10 day Safari and following stay at the beach. Answering all questions quickly and reassuring us that the vegetarian in our party would be well catered for (he was!). Of course, it is daunting to send large amounts of money to a Kenyan bank account…
we all know the stories of internet scams….but this is definitely a company you can trust.
The Safari itself was simply incredible. Our driver Anthony was recommended in lots of reviews we had read previously and we were lucky that our request to have him specifically was possible. Such a genuine, knowledgable, lovely and all round caring man with outstanding skill at finding the animals. He planned our days perfectly and I can honestly say that I don’t think there is an animal that lives in those parks that we have not seen! An absolute privilege and pleasure to spend 10 days of our trip with him :)
The lodges were all good quality with a decent choice of food and nice facilities. Obviously WiFi and availability of hot water varied but hey, this is Africa!
One word of advice - opt for the private Land Cruiser if you can, it’s totally worth it to be able to plan your days as you want without having to match requirements with other people.

We went on an 8 day Safari Tour with Best Memory Safaris and highly recommend them as a professional team that ensure every aspect is well planned.
Pre-Safari - we customised an itinerary that suited our situation and Isaac was very understanding and high responsive.
Our Guide (Shem) was a very capable and safe driver and had extensive knowledge of the wildlife in the various Parks that we visited.
You will not be disappointed using Best Memory Safaris to organise your holiday.

After having had to cancel our planned trip to South Africa three times and unable to reschedule, we had six weeks to plan a whole new vacation. After receiving our flight itinerary Isaac quickly went to work and planned what ended up being an incredible trip so far beyond our expectations. Once we were in country our driver and guide Timothy made sure everything flowed and that we saw all the sights and animals we hoped for (we even saw three wildebeest crossing of the Mara River, our experience with the Great Migration left me speechless). Every accommodation was perfect, the food was phenomenal. If we could go back tomorrow we would in a heartbeat. Best Memory Safaris is 100% true to its name. All this coming from someone who has been to Africa three times previously so this was not my first rodeo, but certainly my most memorable! If you are planning to visit Kenya, I can’t imagine there is a company that would care for you better!

The most memorable thing were really the views, seeing so many beautiful sights of nature were something else to behold. It's one thing to see them in pictures but a completely different thing to see them with your own eyes. It really gets you to appreciate the delicacy of nature.
The safari was very well planned and we had adequate time to enjoy everything so we didn't feel it was too rushed. We got to see almost all the famous animals (including the big 5 of Kenya) and the beautiful countryside in all its many forms, from dusk to dawn. In one of the resorts (the Salt Lick Safari Lodge) we got to see the beautiful night sky with many stars gleaming against the backdrop as we were on a night safari where I also managed to spot a leopard.
We stayed in great quality hotels / resorts and the powerful 4WD safari car served us well. The food was good and accommodated a vegetarian diet which was important to us. We didn't face any major problems whatsoever.
The people were great, Jaffet and Anthony were all very kind and understanding with lots of wisdom and knowledge to share about the places and all the animals we would spot while we visited; their enthusiasm was infectious and it was amazing to learn from someone so experienced and passionate about something.
The tour was also very flexible so there are a lot of aspects that you can adjust to your own liking, ensuring you have the best possible experience.
It was amongst the best 10 days ever spent in my life.

Our experience started in the fall of 2019, when we begun to organize this trip. I asked for many offers, from many companies, and Best Memories was the one who turned in with the quickest and best answers to all our questions. We were set to have this journey in July 2020...then we all know what happened, some guy ate a bat, or whatever, and all our plans washed down the drain.
But Isaac, and the company were at the top of their game, offering us the whole range of options: the return of our deposit, later rebooking, or the postponing of our trip, under the same conditions. We opted for the second, and turned out to be the best decision.
