Wow! All we can say is how amazing this trip was. Our driver, Tito, took amazing care of us and we saw so many birds and animals. We saw the Big5 plus so many other amazing animals up close. Tito answered all of our questions and was great company. Just like the animal viewing part of our trip we also had an amazing 4 day encounter with Maasai culture and got a real look at what life is like in the Loita Hills. Everywhere we stayed was amazing. Setting up our trip was easy. The food was great and they even catered to my vegitarian diet. Overall I would highly recommend Eyes on Africa! Thanks everyone!

We went on a safari a few days ago with Henry. It was a breathtaking experience and one we will never forget. Henry was very pleasant and a very experienced tour guide. I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals.

After pickup in Mombasa we drove to Lumo, where we checked in at Lions Bluff Lodge on the top of a hill. An amazing place for a hotel, with proper tents and good food. After November’s rainfall the grass was really high, which made animals more hard to find. But still this parc is amazing, small roads and we had spectacular views with rainbows. After Lumo we visited Tsavo where we could see less because of road closure. But we still saw many giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, gazelles and zebra. At Voyager Ziwani we made a walking safari real close to crocs and hippos. Don’t forget the views on Kilimanjaro. In Amboseli we made a long safari trip at daytime, where we saw hundreds of elephants gathering. The weather did not work with us so no view on Kilimanjaro. Next day our guide arranged a quick visit to make these amazing Kilimanjaro picture. Last stop was Naivasha. Although our expectations were low we had the whole crater lake tented camp for the 2 of us. Many colobus monkeys, giraffes really close by. Also Oloiden lake with the hippo and flocks of flamingo was perfect. Many thanks to our driver R. Kelly who believes he can fly (see picture)

We had a positive experience with Eyes on Africa and would recommend them as a great company to book your private East African adventures with.  Agnes was extremely patient, attentive, and responsive during the process of building our itinerary.  She listened to feedback and adjusted accordingly to ensure that our experience was shaped to our satisfaction (and within our price range).  Our guide in Kenya (George) was spectacular and I highly recommend requesting him.  Our guide in Tanzania (Mohamed) was not as great (but, adequate) and we would not recommend him.  We were able to spot all of the big five animals everyday (rhinos only at the Crater, though) and noted around 30 different animals overall.  We enjoyed learning and speaking Swahili with the friendly staff throughout our stay.  Overall we felt that the variety of our accommodations and sites were very good.  There were only a couple negative accommodation issues. We felt safe, well taken care of, prepared, and with everything being handled by Eyes on Africa we enjoyed every minute instead of worrying about travel logistics!

We chose eyes on Africa for our African honeymoon adventure, and did not regret it for a second. The safari consisted of 2 days at the Masai eco camp Maji Moto, 3 days of cycling and camping in the bush with Masai guide and finally 3 days at the Masai Mara wildlife reserve. Throughout, Eyes on Africa, the Masai guides, the Masai maji Moto camp and the camp in Masai Mara reserve (Basecamp explorer) all did everything they could to make our honeymoon a unique and memorable experience. A big thanks to eyes on Africa for organizing and for making sure that we enjoyed every day of the trip. Especially a big thanks to our very knowledgeable guide Patric, who were with us throughout the safari. In addition to finding us plenty of animals (found big 5 multiple times, one of the days all of them before lunch), he made sure that both of the camps we visited were aware of our special occasion, and gave us some extra attention. Highly recommended!
