We are a local tours and travel agency based in Kenya, created by a team of three Kenyan ethologists and 2 more Kenyan Naturalist Travel guides. Excellent safari with Wild Race Africa Safaris. I got wild Race Africa Safaris online and when I went through what other travelers’ say, I was a bit skeptical, but again its better a company with at least 2 to 5% negative review, it only means the reviews are genuine and not doctored, so I gave them a try.
I got into contact with Simon via mail and he was quite swift in his responses. He reverted to us with a detailed itinerary, well planned and fully detailed with the lodges.
We discussed with my family, checked out the lodges and the rates, we then proceeded with trip confirmation to help ensure the lodges are booked and confirmed in good time.
True to his promise, we got the official company receipt after paying the 30% Advance payment and the lodges reservation reference numbers for our own peace of mind.
Upon landing in Nairobi, we were met at the airport, we cleared the balances and off the trip kicked to Amboseli National Park.
George Odingo was our guide for the 14 Days trip. He is the best guide we could ever ask for. Very detailed, friendly, and flexible. We spotted a lot of animals with much ease.
My daughter calls him a “walking Encyclopedia”, we later get to learn that he is an ethologists and naturalist at the same time with over 25 years experiencing guiding.
He was very kind and nice with us. He takes care of us in every moment, he was part of our family in Kenya where everybody is a sister and a brother from another Mather.
Many thanks to Wild Race Africa and the entire team for making our Kenya trip such an awesome safari experience.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who want to explore and discover Africa, up close and personal.

We did a 5 days / 4 nights safari tour to Amboseli and Masai Mara with Wild Race Africa and we had a great time.
As it was a last minute trip for us, it was helpful that Simon was very responsive and helped us organize the trip rapidly by email. Also they were flexible when we asked to do 5 days instead of 6.
They picked us up when we arrived at the airport and drove us to our hotel in Nairobi even if the safari only started two days later.
George was our driver for the 5 day safari. He was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the parks very well and gave us lots of information on the animals. And he did his best so we could see many animals and so we could have a great time.
The two lodges they booked for us in the two parks were excellent. In Amboseli, we stayed at Kibo Luxury Tent Camp, a great lodge just outside the gate. In Masai Mara, we stayed at Mara Keekorok, a lodge inside the park which was very helpful as the park is very big. For the car, we picked the Land Cruiser instead of the van and we feel we made the right choice as the road was quite muddy and we could not have gone on the same tracks with the van.
We were very happy with the whole trip and the organization. We really recommend going with Wild Race Africa and with George as a driver!

I sent an inquiry through the safaribookings.com-website to five different tour operators at Aug 2022 and after contacted with them, Wild Race Africa Tours seemed to be the right one for us.
We booked Safari for February 2023, paid a 30% reservation fee, received a receipt for the payment and agreed that I would pay the rest in cash on the spot. While waiting for the trip to start, I emailed Simon several times and asked for help with practical arrangements, such as applying for a visa, the necessary vaccinations, etc. He usually answered those questions quite quickly.
Finally, our flight landed in Nairobi and we were met at the airport as agreed and were transferred to the hotel with no extra charge. The next morning, after breakfast, we met Simon at the hotel and paid the remaining 70% in cash. Our guide/driver Hudson was also there so we packed our luggage into the LandCruiser and the journey began.
We spent the next 6 days on safari (2 nights in Amboseli, 1 night in Nakuru and 2 nights in Masai Mara) and it was a really great experience. Big thanks goes to our guide Hudson who was incredibly friendly and knew so much about animals and birds and those national parks. With his help we managed to spot the big 5.
Finally, a tip especially for families with children: Before arriving at the national park, you should buy some snacks from the grocery store, so that is available if someone gets hungry during the game drive.

It was agreed with Simon before the travel that we would spend 2nights at Keekorok Lodge and 1 night at Mara Julia's camp .We paid accordingly. In the middle of the journey I was told all the 3 nights are booked at Keekorok lodge. We were told that Keekorok is a better option and it is more expensive. A simple google search shows how big lie it is.
We missed an experience.
Secondly our Guide George tried to change our plan for the day 4 at Lake Nakuru. He suggested to go to Naivasha. But as we asked him to stick to the original plan. He did not like it. After that incident, we received very cold behaviour for the remaining 4 days.
The only star goes to our Nairobi Guide. He was good.
We missed an experience.
Secondly our Guide George tried to change our plan for the day 4 at Lake Nakuru. He suggested to go to Naivasha. But as we asked him to stick to the original plan. He did not like it. After that incident, we received very cold behaviour for the remaining 4 days.
The only star goes to our Nairobi Guide. He was good.

Thank you for leaving us the online feed back. His is very much kind of you as we get to adjust our services accordingly.
It’s unfortunate you dint like it that you spent the whole 3 Nights at Keekorok lodge instead of 2 and 1 night at the Julia’s River camp.
As I did explain to you when you were here, we did not get the room availability with Julia’s River camp, not because they were full but coz with covid 19 impact, they could not manage to meet the operation cost.
Logically, you can not compare the two facilities, keekorok is one of the first lodges in Masai mara game Reserve. A 5 star, centrally located at the migration corridor and hence commands the best game viewing experience even by the comfort of your balcony.
The Julia’s River camp on the other hand is a 3 star tented camp.
In essence, you can not compare the two facilities; it’s like comparing the sun and the moon, which one sunshines brightest!
The Mara keekorok lodge offers guests the utmost sence of luxury, exclusivity, service and dramatic game viewing that suit every one's desires.
As for the program, I don’t think George would try to change your program. He has no authority and even capability to alter any program assigned to him by the office.
A guide can never change the lodges that were booked and confirmed by the office. The accommodations facilities are not paid by the guides but our office 3 month before your arrival date. All the payments are done.
I think he asked you to pass by lake naivasha for a boat ride if you wish to but you misunderstood him. I had asked him to be more clear next time to help avoid confusion.

Words alone can not describe the incredible 6 days trip experience we had in Kenya with Wild Race Africa. We settle on the organization after reading their online reviews. We got in touch with them and they were very swift in their responses.
Simon explained everything in detail and answered to our numerous questions efficiently.
The choice f lodges were awesome and the prices were also very pocket friendly.
We made the commitment fee and cleared the balance on arrival by card and off we were to Masai Mara game reserve.
Our guide George was very knowledgeable and very accommodation.
My daughter was so demanding but George handled every demand so efficiently that we were both very much happy with his services.
The Mara Sekenani camp was superb just as simon had promised. The staffs are very friendly and quite professional.
Back in Nairobi, we had a surprise dinner and carnivore restaurant courtesy of simon and wild Race Africa
I highly recommend this organization for anyone looking for a fantastic Kenya Safari experience.
Simon explained everything in detail and answered to our numerous questions efficiently.

Milambo was excellent at communicating with myself, very reliable, responded to my messages promptly and provided me With clarity at all times. He did his utmost best in coming up with a fantastic package including Tsavo East/West and Amboesli with amazing overnight lodges, kilaguni lodge with the amazing waterhole view inviting zebras elephants etc to drink from and Kibo,luxury tented lodge. The whole package was worth every dollar.
Our tour guide Ahmed was superb!
He gave us an experience we can never forget thanks to his rapid response to the radios we were able to encounter all the big five and a live hunt!
Over all I’m very happy I booked with Wild Race Safari, definitely lived up to that title! If you are planning a safari trip, I would most certainly advise abs recommend you book with Wild Race Africa.

Pre-travel assistance very kind and timely by the owner Simon M., on all our requests.
The overall safari schedule was full and well respected for the main attractions. Budget accommodations and camps chosen carefully with Simon and aligned with our expectations. Surprise upgrade on the last lodge very much appreciated!
As a possible point of improvement we'd suggest a better accuracy in the written details of the daily plan and documents provided, as some typos and copy-paste from other schedules were misleading for us in terms of lenght of the transfer travels between the different locations, some activities/stops described along the itinerary were just not possible to fit the schedule in terms of time, so it is advisable not to even mention them.
For the time schedule we therefore trusted completely in our guide Simon K. who is extremely professional and knowledgeable on animals and routes. He is also a very good driver and thanks to his experience and knowledge we were able to spot so many animals, several lions and a leopard on a tree in Nakuru. Thank you Simon & Simon for the unforgettable experience!

My adult niece and I had an excellent 5-Day trip to Aberdares NP, Samburu NR, & Ol-Pejeta NP lead by our amazing guide, George.
Wild Race Africa made sure all our needs were covered and went above and beyond including an airport pick up and extra game drive to seek the elusive leopard!
We saw incredible animals and enjoyed our time with our guide and at the lodges. I particularly like the natural diversity of the locations that we took advantage of by seeing multiple parks.
I would highly recommend this tour group as the prices were reasonable and the quality was high.
Wild Race Africa made sure all our needs were covered and went above and beyond including an airport pick up and extra game drive to seek the elusive leopard!

Thank you so much for the online feedback. All these were made possible by your kind understanding and flexibility. I did find it very easy to work closely with you to come up with a perfect trip itinerary for you and Rachel.
The 5-Days Kenya trip; Aberdares, Samburu, and ol pajeta sweet waters, actually take you off the commonly beaten tracks and home to the wild cats.
It’s one of the best Kenya safari circuits that never disappoint. All you need is a super special private guide like George. He is not only one of our best but also the best guide in the industry.

Wild Race Africa and Rachel was very helpful in planning and organize our 7 Days Luxury Kenya Safari.
We got Wild Race Africa through referral from a friend who had travelled with them 2019. We got into contact with them via mail and soon got a response from Sylvester’s who was very helpful and quite swift in his responses, very detailed and tackle all our questions with a lot of confidence.
The choice of lodges were excellent. We did Amboseli Ol tukai lodge, lake Naivasha sopa, Lake nakuru Sarova lion hill and mara Sarova game lodge.
All all these lodges, the staffs were very much friendly and quite professional. We were treated like Royalty.
We took a Jeep safari and our guide Hudson was quite incredible, very knowledgeable and flexible.
I would highly recommend wild race Africa for anyone who want to experience the best of kenya wildlife.

We had a mind-blowing all-round safari experience with Wild Race Africa Safaris. We got to know about Wild Race Africa through a friend who had travelled with them before. From the moment I placed our trip request with them, the service was beyond all expectations. Simon listened carefully to our trip request and specifications.
He perfectly arranged the perfect holiday tour that met all our interest. The proposed safari lodges were quality lodges located right inside the park that help ensure we maximise our time exploring the parks.
He was very much patient with my frequent, unending questions. As the company policy, we placed advance payment via Pesa-pal (Online payment). Simon Responded back with a receipt confirmation of payment and lodges booking reference numbers.
In Nairobi, we met Rachel and Phanuel who took us to the office where we met Simon and clear the Balance via car payment.
Our Guide Phanuel was excellent. From start of our 8 Days trip, he was incredibly knowledgeable about Animals, birds, and local people’s culture.
We had very easy time exploring the parks, he put his experience forward yet listened to our needs and been super flexible.
