This was our first safari experience and southern valley safaris did not disappoint. Anderson was very fast to respond and his recommendation for the camp (Entim) was perfect. I would definitely recommend both southern valley safaris and entim camp. Then there was our guide Edwin. He was a marvel … supper friendly, very informative about the animals we saw. Quick to respond to sightings (we saw the same leopard on 2 separate days) … nothing was too much trouble … hakuna matata…. Can’t wait to go back!!!

My family had a wonderful time on our safari to Amboseli National Park. Anderson was our contact person. He was responsive and professional. Jeremy was our driver/guide. Jeremy was a 10+. You will not find a better guide/driver than Jeremy. He was patient, kind and found amazing animals and things to see. He has a great rapport with other guides, which is a MUST for your safari experience. Amboseli exceeded our expectations. I have no reservations about referring Southern Valley Safaris to other travelers, and I highly recommend Anderson and Jeremy for your future safari adventures.

I did the travel to Kenya despite government travel warnings in Austria, and it was a perfectly safe experience. We were picked up in Nairobi in the morning of the first day and stayed overnight at AA lodge. During excursions we saw more of wildlife than expected, with a very knowledgeable driver and tour guide. Acommodation, food etc was perfect. We completed roundtrip via Namanga on 2nd day. Only improvement I could think of would have been to lift the clouds, so we could have seen Mount Kilimanjaro :-) ....

We booked a two day tour from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park with Southern Valley tours and we’ve had the best experience! Before booking we had quite some questions and Anderson responded very accurate and quickly. It was nice to gain some more information before booking the tour and transferring the money. On the day of the tour Anderson personally came to us to meet and to explain us a bit more about the tour. Then we left with our taxi drive and tour guide Jeremy. He was truly amazing! He was a very good and safe driver and was very friendly and flexible. Above all he had a very broad knowledge about the wildlife in the park and the different animals. We did learn a lot. He managed to find a lot of animals. For the night we booked Kibo lodge. It was a very nice lodge with a spectacular view of the Kilimanjaro. I would highly recommend booking this tour operator because of their very good price and perfect quality. Greetings from the Netherlands.

From our first contact with Anderson, till when we were dropped off at our hotel we were very impressed with the level of service. The guys waited for us for over an hour because our flights were delayed and didn’t complain once. The trip down to amboseli was comfortable and Jeremy was very understanding that we weren’t that chatty as we hadn’t slept in 24 hours! Jeremy was the best guide, he stopped when we wanted to and explained what we’re looking at. The two drives were excellent and we saw loads it was the tour of a lifetime! Stay at Kibo if you have the option.

I can't say enough how wonderful our trip was!! The team is so helpful and kind. Our driver and guide went out of his way to make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. We also just had great conversations and the whole trip went so smoothly. We are so grateful for the time we spent with our driver Edwin and can only recommend this 100%!!!

I absolutely loved my 3-day safari to Masai Mara with Southern Valley. I did a lot of research before booking and Anderson was always responsive and very helpful. My guide, Jeremy, was exceptional - friendly, skilled: he ensured my game drives were packed with maximum wildlife encounters. The entire safari was well-organized and exceeded my expectations. It was clear they were invested in providing a superb experience. I cannot wait to return to Kenya and take another safari with Southern Valley.

My fiance and I truly enjoyed the safari. Our tour guide/driver (Jeremy) was very profesional and knew all the trails in Amboselli. He allowed us to get some of the best camera shots, and spotted many animals that I was not familiar with.
Jeremy also ensured that we were kept safe at all times, and followed trafic laws.
We enjoyed the lodging accomodations, and the service provided by the AA Lodge.
I truly appreciate the services provided by Southern Valley Safari. Thank you!

Our dream to go on a safari to the beautiful Masai Mara and Amboseli park has just become a reality, The experience we have just been through is more than we ever comprehended, For 3 days/2 nights we stayed at Masai Mara and then 1 night at Amboseli park. No experience can come close to the excitement of seeing all the big five in their natural habitat. Our driver, Edwin was well conversant with park's terrain and he could actually spot the animals with ease. Big up for Southern Valley Safaris for having such a funny and good driver. We cannot fail to mention the commendable work done by Anderson, the tour manager, he ensured that our accommodation was in right package and scenery. No delay was experienced as the collaboration between him and the driver was on point. Our safari provided an experience we wish everyone to go through and we highly recommend Southern Valley Safaris as your travel agency.

We have just returned from a trip that included Rwanda, Kenya and Zanzibar. For the Kenya part of the trip, I contacted Anderson at Southern Valley Safaris with a view to staying at Mara Crossings Camp – a luxury tented camp on the banks of the Mara River. He replied with a competitive quote and so we took up the offer of 4wd trip from Nairobi, through the rift valley to the camp in the Masai Mara for a 3 day/2 night stay. We were met at 7am promptly by Anderson and the driver – Jackson. We all agree that Jackson was the best driver we could have wished for. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and funny. We managed to see lots of animals on our game drives thanks to his skills and we all thoroughly enjoyed our trip – thank you Jackson!
