The whole booking process was seamless through Anderson the communication officer for the company, then we met the highlight of the trip Jeremy who exceeded all expectations, always on time, smiley, chilled, tolerant and exceptional expert with the parks and the wildlife as well. Very informative about the environment, animals, seasons, weather, everything. A very experienced driver on and off road. Very nice cozy car with a big fridge and drinks, electrical sockets. It was like our moving house. Thanks all for the lovely experience, would definitely do it again!!

What an amazing experience. We did the 3 day Maasi Mara safari as a family of 4 (kids 6 & 8) with Southern Vally Safaris and it exceeded our expectations constantly. Jeremiah was a great guide, very knowledgeable with wildlife and able to read when the kids needed a change. Pace was perfect, not chasing the pack but seen everything we wanted to.
We went in a 4x4 bus and didn't feel we lost out on anything for not having a jeep. Pickup and drop off with time to spare. Plenty of water provided on safari.
We did day 2 as 1 long trip instead of 2 short ones and got to the Mara river and Tanzania border.
Absolutely perfect experience and we are vert greatful to Jeremiah for making it that way for us.
Would highly recommend for a family

My family had a wonderful time on our safari to Amboseli National Park. Anderson was our contact person. He was responsive and professional. Jeremy was our driver/guide. Jeremy was a 10+. You will not find a better guide/driver than Jeremy. He was patient, kind and found amazing animals and things to see. He has a great rapport with other guides, which is a MUST for your safari experience. Amboseli exceeded our expectations. I have no reservations about referring Southern Valley Safaris to other travelers, and I highly recommend Anderson and Jeremy for your future safari adventures.

This was our first safari experience and southern valley safaris did not disappoint. Anderson was very fast to respond and his recommendation for the camp (Entim) was perfect. I would definitely recommend both southern valley safaris and entim camp. Then there was our guide Edwin. He was a marvel … supper friendly, very informative about the animals we saw. Quick to respond to sightings (we saw the same leopard on 2 separate days) … nothing was too much trouble … hakuna matata…. Can’t wait to go back!!!

I did the travel to Kenya despite government travel warnings in Austria, and it was a perfectly safe experience. We were picked up in Nairobi in the morning of the first day and stayed overnight at AA lodge. During excursions we saw more of wildlife than expected, with a very knowledgeable driver and tour guide. Acommodation, food etc was perfect. We completed roundtrip via Namanga on 2nd day. Only improvement I could think of would have been to lift the clouds, so we could have seen Mount Kilimanjaro :-) ....

Having been on variius Safari on over 10 occasions over 4 visits to Africa, may I say this trip well exceeded all expectations.
Edwin our guide was exceptional.in all ways.
Timeliness, professionalism, guiding, encounters, taking that extra step ensured the visit to Amboselli was one of the best, if not the best private safari's I have ever gone on. I have gone to some amazing places previously with poor guides and I can vouch from experience that it can make or break your memories. Do yourself a favour and choose this company.

Horrible communication skills and false booking ! I booked a specific room and got something else! They didn’t want to refund me the difference! They kept lying about putting me on waiting list while the hotel said no one called from their side. My friend tried to call to help coordinate but they sent him a fake invoice ….etc and many more
The person who is in charge of their whats app needs to be fired immediately as he has 0 experience of basics knowledge.

Apologies for the room allocation experience by the lodge which we didn’t have control over as the lodge was already fully booked. We were in communication with the lodge in which they handed you the phone as you awaited to be checked in on the 19th of Aug 2023. We tried to get an upgrade for you but all the rooms were fully booked.
We believe you had the best game experience ever on the 20th of Aug which was a full day game drive with packed lunch and on the 21st on August as the review was written at the time of check in which is on the 19th of August.
We also gave you a complimentary for the 10 year old which has not been indicated on the review – The Child travelled Free of Charge.
Southern Valley Safaris strives to offer the best safari experience. We have Noted your recommendation and action will be taken.

We booked a two day tour from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park with Southern Valley tours and we’ve had the best experience! Before booking we had quite some questions and Anderson responded very accurate and quickly. It was nice to gain some more information before booking the tour and transferring the money. On the day of the tour Anderson personally came to us to meet and to explain us a bit more about the tour. Then we left with our taxi drive and tour guide Jeremy. He was truly amazing! He was a very good and safe driver and was very friendly and flexible. Above all he had a very broad knowledge about the wildlife in the park and the different animals. We did learn a lot. He managed to find a lot of animals. For the night we booked Kibo lodge. It was a very nice lodge with a spectacular view of the Kilimanjaro. I would highly recommend booking this tour operator because of their very good price and perfect quality. Greetings from the Netherlands.

From our first contact with Anderson, till when we were dropped off at our hotel we were very impressed with the level of service. The guys waited for us for over an hour because our flights were delayed and didn’t complain once. The trip down to amboseli was comfortable and Jeremy was very understanding that we weren’t that chatty as we hadn’t slept in 24 hours! Jeremy was the best guide, he stopped when we wanted to and explained what we’re looking at. The two drives were excellent and we saw loads it was the tour of a lifetime! Stay at Kibo if you have the option.

I can't say enough how wonderful our trip was!! The team is so helpful and kind. Our driver and guide went out of his way to make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. We also just had great conversations and the whole trip went so smoothly. We are so grateful for the time we spent with our driver Edwin and can only recommend this 100%!!!
