We had a wonderful honeymoon experience with Flash McTours and Travel. From the outset Peter was the most accommodating tour organiser that responded to our enquiries and together we came up with an itinerary that managed to include the big ticket items that we wanted to see and suited our budget.
The tour was in two halves and we had different guides and vehicles in Kenya and Tanzania. Martin took us through Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and was top class - his laid back style suited us perfectly and we had some great adventures along the way. Pray God took over in Tanzania and did everything he could to make sure we had the best experience.
To the reason we were there, the wildlife and nature was incredible. Two up close encounters with lions stand out, the first was three mature lions feasting on an unfortunate wildebeest and the second was just watching a pride of four adults and five cubs relaxing and playing in the sun - amazing! We splurged on a hot air balloon in Masai Mara and it was the definite highlight of the trip and we would definitely recommend it as being worth the splurge!
All in all the guides, accommodation and food were very good value for money and Flash McTours will be our first call the next time we are heading in that direction, thanks for everything!

We were 6 in our group, started with a detailed research almost a year ago before booking a Safari tour organiser. We preferred Flash McTours as Peter Njenga, the owner, had a very flexible approach towards our requests. He was very responsive and informative which made us comfortable to start with.
We had an excellent Safari tour guide, Edward Mathu, who was very friendly, informative, positive and enthusiastic. We appreciated his command of English language and his skilled driving in quite challenging areas after heavy rain. He tried his best to ensure that we see as much as possible, we were able to see the big five, 4 leopards in different days, several lions.
We visited Aberdare, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and finally Maasai Mara which were all very interesting and different in my view. We stayed at Ark Lodge, Flamingo Hill Camp and Entim Mara. The food at Entim Mara was outstanding, even the packed breakfasts and lunches were very tasty and exceeded expectations. Staying in an unfenced camp (Entim Mara) was exciting.
On the way back to Nairobi, we visited Maasai Mara village which looked interesting as they kept their traditions of rather native living, still we thought the entrance fee per person (USD 20) was overpriced. It was overwhelming as the natives were very insistent when it came to shopping.
All in all, our trip was an extreme success with big credits to Flash McTours and Travel, again thanks to Peter Njenga for making our trip a success.

I arrived to Nairobi at 3am at a bus stop, I had been travelling for 2 days from Addis, Ethiopia. When I arrived Peter came to pick me up and sorted me a hotel for a few hours to freshen up.
We later had breakfast on the go and he handed me over to my Safari driver/guide John. I had chosen a 4 day option with an additional walking safari option. We stopped there first. It was amazing. After a short trip across lake Nakuru, spotting Hippos and fish eagles I was walked through the reserve getting up close and personal with giraffes, wildebeests, zebra's and antelope. We continued onto lake NAIVASHA I think. Accommodations were gorgeous and so was the food. We went on an afternoon game drive saw 3 of the big 5 and had dinner. Started early the next day, breakfast and a morning game drive leaving the park headed to The Masai Mara national reserve. We spent 2 nights at the luxury tented camp site which was divine. Food and service were amazing and there was plenty of action on the game drives, animals get proper close! I also opted to visit a traditional Masai Villige on the way out which was a nice way to end the trip.
All in all the accommodations were spot on, all the food was great, service was better and I saw a lot of animals.

This was mine and my boyfriend's first Safari and it completely exceeded our expectations. I can't wait to go again some day. We had Edward as our driver / guide who was just brilliant. Given we only had two days safari (because of our time constraints) Edward was really keen to make the most of our time and drive into the evening so we could see as much as possible. Ideally, if we had more time we would have done 3-4 days but we still got to see so much (even saw a Leopard up a tree which was the highlight for us!). He answered all our questions we had and is clearly a very experienced driver. He also had a mega land cruiser for just the two of us which was great! Couldn't have asked for a better guide and will definitely ask for Edward again when we next to safari!
On Safari, Flash McTours booked us into BaseCamp. It was perfect. There are so many camps where you can stay whilst on safari so I really recommend booking through an agent as they know which are the best!
Peter (who runs FlashMcTours) coordinated and booked the whole thing for us and really went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly (he also booked our next part of the trip too which were flights to Lamu). We booked our whole trip and the safari two days before flying and he couldn't have been more helpful - We had him on WhatsApp so could contact him whenever and he would reply almost instantly and at any time (even when we were having some issues at the Airport arriving into Kenya).

Nothing but great things to say about Peter, Flash MC Tours, and our amazing guide Anthony. We could not have asked for anything better. Having never travelled to Kenya before, we did a lot of research into many travel companies and reached out to several. We chose to go with Peter because he was extremely responsive, listened to our needs and customized a trip that worked for us. He communicated with us regularly leading up to and during our trip. When we landed in Nairobi, Peter, and our guide Anthony met us at the airport. We highly appreciated the excellent attention to detail, thoughtful stops along the way and careful planning to ensure we got time at each park. Our guide Anthony was extremely motivated to show us as many animals as possible and was very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about the country, the wildlife and the culture through our insightful conversations with Anthony.
All in all, the trip was everything we expected and more!
If you are thinking about taking a trip to Kenya, we would highly recommend Flash MC tours. Ask for Anthony as your guide if you want to increase your odds of wildlife sighting!

Africa Flesh McTours put together a personalized 9 days safari vacation (Masaai Mara, Amboseli, Ol Pejeta) for us. Peter who is the manager of Flash McTours was extremely responsive before and during the trip to Kenya, answering our questions promptly. Even when we had a little issue with the hotel in Ol Pejeta, he quickly resolved it and offered us a better accommodation. Anthony, who was our guide for the entire 9 days was knowledgable and kind, so we really enjoyed his company. Peter called Anthony's phone once in a while to check in with us if everything is alright, which was very thoughtful. Peter went over and beyond to make our vacation great. Flesh McTours is a very reliable company, and I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about a safari vacation in Kenya.

We had the most amazing experience traveling through Kenya with Africa FlashMC tours. I typically arrange our travel on my own, but for our family’s first trip to Africa I wanted the expertise of a guide. Communicating with Peter leading up to our trip could not have been easier. He always responded in a timely manner; he patiently answered all of my questions and he was flexible and accommodating in creating the perfect custom itinerary for our family with two little kids. Our actual tour surpassed all of our expectations. We visited Ol Pejeta and Samburu and enjoyed both. Our guide, Edward, truly made our trip. By the end of our tour Edward felt like family to us and we were sad to say goodbye. Our kids loved him and we did too. He shared so much knowledge with us and we appreciated his graciousness throughout. Would highly recommend!

We had the trip of our lives in Africa and a large part of the success can be credited to our guide Anthony. He was fun, talkative and informative. He is a great driver, an amazing driver. We went where we wanted to go safely and assertively. Great fun! He has an amazing amount of knowledge about the safari area and the animals, continually adding much to our day with his additional information. An example are the three times we were able to watch lions mate because Anthony knew they were getting ready by their demeanor, and would say be patient, give them more time. I am sure we saw a lot of wonderful animal behavior because Anthony has a keen eye for them and could explain their behavior to us. He knew where the find the animals!
He also taught us a lot about the landscape, trees, and other vegetation such as the sausage tree that is eaten by giraffes and elephants.
Anthony also knew more fun stuff such as the equator place and what fun we had there with a science experience to prove we were on the equator.
I also want to stay that due to Sue's brain cancer and other sore muscles and joints for both Sue and Bob, Anthony was very careful helping us in and out of the Land Cruiser, which was a very worthwhile upgrade. Very much appreciated!
Lastly we just want to mention all the extras and there were so many.
He also taught us a lot about the landscape, trees, and other vegetation such as the sausage tree that is eaten by giraffes and elephants.
Anthony also knew more fun stuff such as the equator place and what fun we had there with a science experience to prove we were on the equator.

After browsing online to decide on a safari tour, we came across Africa Flash MC. We really liked the tours and the prices - relatively the ones with the most value.
We contacted them to see if it is possible to arrange different pickup locations to better suit our needs (we started off from Malindi). Peter replied to all our queries and was incredibly helpful, creating a custom safari combining all the locations we wanted to visit.
Our safaris were guided by Simon, and we must say, he was an amazing tour guide! He was always prompt and on time; he answered all our questions, and he went the extra mile to give us the best tourist experience. He always went out of his way and never tried to cut drives short in any way.
The van was comfortable and was cleaned even during the 5 days we spent with Simon. Drinking water was available, as well as binoculars and a lovely animal checklist where we ticked off all the animals we saw, from lions to cheetah, zebras, giraffes, elephants and much more!
All this + the incredible customer service and friendliness from both Simon and Peter made our experience memorable and a great one to share with our family.

Peter from Africa Flash helped us put together a 13 day safari which included Samburu, Ol Pejeta, Navaisa, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru. His responses to our initial enquiries were extremely quick and he impressed greatly with his suggestions of camps to stay at and kept to the budget we set. Our trip, originally planned for 2019, finally came to fruition in January 2023.
Unfortunately, after we paid Peter, his communications with us became virtually non existent. We made changes to our itinerary in November, Peter advised there was no problem with this. He did not inform us that it required a change of the order of the parks we were visiting, which led to some confusion between our guide and ourselves. It also involved more driving and some backtracking resulting in some missed game drives due to late afternoon arrival at camps. We would have preferred Peter to communicate this with us and give us the opportunity to relook at our changes.
There were also some problems with park fees not paid and getting clearance from Peter to pay for petrol on several occasions. We spent a lot of time sitting in petrol stations waiting, once for over half an hour.
These problems aside, we did have a fantastic safari. Our guide Simon, was very good and a lot of fun and looked after us extremely well. I would use Africa Flash McTours again.

Hello Kath, thanks for contacting us. The difference between Luxury and Standard Accommodation is that Luxury Accommodations are rated 5 star as per TripAdvisor Rating, their services are also a higher notch compared to the Standard Accommodations.
While The Standard Accommodations are 4 Star as rated by Trip Advisor. You will however find that they have almost similar attributes, such as Swimming Pools but the level of services are different!
