We visited the Giraffe center with a 7 yr old in tow in late June '17. It is a conservancy center for Rothschild Giraffes rescued from various situations. What makes this unique, at least for visitors, is that you can physically interact with the animals,...More

Loved this!!! We were given 2 handfuls of food each and went up to the viewing platform where you fed them to the animals 1 pellet at a time.... The keepers were up on the platform talking about each animal. We learned their ages, names,...More

It is a great place to learn about the animals, and feed them from your hand with food supplied by the staff. Also you can learn a lot about the Giraffes. It takes 1 to 2 hours and is fun for all ages!

Giraffes are very friendly and you are allowed to interacts with them and feed them their favorite pellets. They do not shy away nor demonstrate any aggression. It is a fun visit where you can get close and personal.

You can get very close to the Giraffes to pet and feed them. It could get crowded with the small viewing area but it is definitely worth it!

I think this is definitely worth a visit but you probably only need to plan for an hour at most here. It's smaller than I thought it would be - basically a small area where you arrive and then a viewing platform where you can...More

On the entire trip to Kenya, this was the only time when we are allowed to feed the animals, haha. It was a moving experience, seeing giraffes from so close, it was quite cool. They are my favorite animals and rightly so. :)
