Tight security for obvious reasons. Most staff on premises are friendly and helpful whether a soldier, security or staff. The actual facility is alright if you just walk through it and to one of the conference rooms however if you treated to the helicopter landing on the roof, you have a breathless view of Nairobi and it's impressive expansion. You... More

If you're in Nairobi it is worth visiting the Kenyatta International Convention Center. It's in the business district of the city so it is safe to walk to if you're staying in the area. When you go to the main security gate or "Safe Checkpoint" you will need your passport or ID card. After you check in you will need... More

Went for the view on the top floor; Was a nice way to spend half an hour to get an overview of the city! Esp as was quite so had the helipad to yourself, great for photos. Not much else to see at the venue, other than it's brutalist architecture.

Good for attending conferences and trade shows. Choice of food is limited and very expensive. It has great out door facility for trade shows. The last one i attended was very good.

This place has a great view of the city. It would be great if it was opened at night as well to view the city lights.

You can take the lift to the final stop and then proceed two floors to get to the helicopter deck. Not for people with vertigo and only recommended if the weather is sunny. It offers an amazing view and I would certainly call it a must when you visit Nairobi.

Government must renovate this place. It can be as good as Excel London conference center, Dubai. It's in Down Town.
