We visited the shopping centre many times during a long stay in Nairobi. Always takes ages to get past security and to find a parking space. I found the Nakumatt to be very expensive and not great quality. As with everything in Kenya, the place...More

The days of free parking (which endears me to the shopping mall and makes me bypass Karen Nakumatt to drive that extra distance to enjoy extra parking freedom) are over. Now fully KAPS compliant, Galleria has joined the ranks of other shopping malls charging for...More

Dear "EnchantedLandscapes" Thank you for your review. Indeed, we had to introduce parking fees to gauge accurate footfall readings, and ascertain that all the cars parked definately meant that shoppers were inside the complex enjoying the services. Our rates remain among the best in value....More

I like Galleria because it seems less crowded and hectic than other similar malls in Nairobi. The artcaffe and Java house anchor the 10 or so other decent eating joints. Parking is tight.

The eating places (restaurants) fantastic, e.g. Java, Artcaffe, food court just to mention but a few. They have a Bata shop with latest designs, safaricom shop, airtel, orange. Jewelry shop, drycleaner, the place is just amazing.

I answered for somewhere else, misreading your question. Yes the Galleria has western food. In fact you have to search to find traditional African food there.
