Our 10 day safari through Kenya was booked with Asili Adventures by our travel agent and we were ultimately glad with the choice. Prior to departing for our safari, we were met at our hotel by Monica and by Jimmy, our driver/guide. They checked to make sure we were prepared and we left from there.

For the next 10 days Jimmy took us through five different parks to view all of the wonderful wildlife Kenya has to offer. Jimmy seemed to have an intangible sense as to where to best locate animals which led to some fantastic photos and chance to see some great sights including part of the Great Migration.

Throughout the trip Jimmy checked to make sure we had no issues and often offered interesting facts and info about the places we drove through and the animals we saw throughout the trip.

Our flight to leave Kenya was scheduled to leave late at night (we booked the flight ourselves) which resulted in a long time gap between our hotel checkout time and flight time. However, Monica was able to arrange for our checkout time to be delayed 3 hours which helped to make the time gap a little more bearable.

Bottomline; a great safari through Kenya provided by Asili Adventures.

My family just got back from a month in Africa, and it was the best vacation any of us have ever had. Asili Adventures was a big part of our time in Africa, and they did a fantastic job! We had booked through another company, but they didn’t operate in Kenya, and so they passed us on to Asili for Lake Nakuru, the Maasai Mara, and Amboseli as part of an 11 day safari.
We started our trip with Sammie, who was fantastic. He was very welcoming, was great with our kids, and worked exceptionally hard for us. He knew so much about the different animals, and really helped us understand them and the places we went to. He taught our kids a little Swahili, and made sure we all had an awesome time.
After returning to Kenya from Tanzania, we met up with Jimmy, who was the most knowledgeable of all our guides. He was very patient when we wanted to stop to look at weird things (camels or bones). He asked us where else we had been/ were going, and he worked especially hard to make sure we saw things that we wouldn’t be able to see anywhere else.
Both safari cars were awesome, and had charging stations and cool water in them for us to use as necessary. I strongly recommend Asili to anyone who is going on safari in Kenya! Thank you so much!

We contacted Asili Adventure Safaris to do a 6-day Kenya and Tanzania safari, with an added stop at Thimlich Ohinga in Kenya. It was easy to arrange, and the safari was fantastic. Our driver in Kenya was Jimmy - knowledgable, a good driver, and helped us to see so many animals in Maasai Mara! Junior took over at the Tanzanian border, and he was just as great as Jimmy - he helped us find so many cats in the Serengeti, including a bunch of servals! Really happy with how the safari part of our vacation went, would definitely use Asili Adventure Safaris again when we're back in East Africa

We spent 3 days at Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli with our guide Martin. Fantastic trip! Martin was great, really knoweldgeable and he seemed to enjoy himself just as much as we did. He knows everything about birds and all the species on offer in the park. I would recommend Asili to anyone who wants to spend a few days on Safari, and next time we come over we'll ask for Martin again.

My sister and I have just finished the 6 day tour of the Great Rift Valley Lakes and Maasai Mara with Asili, and it was superb!

We visited Lakes Bogoria, Nakuru and Naivasha - each was an entirely different experience with many different birds & animals and activities to enjoy. Then to the Maasai Mara for the most incredible day of game driving you could imagine!

Our driver/guide, Charles, was EXCEPTIONAL. He was knowledgeable, informative, courteous, prompt, and personable. He was great at answering questions about what we were seeing as well as life in Kenya, including telling us some stories about his family, that gave us a great insight into the daily life of this stunning country.

All the accommodations were great, especially the tented lodge at Enkorok! Wow! All had wifi in the public areas and some had it in the rooms too.

The vehicle had seats for six passengers and a pop-up roof for game spotting and photography. There was also drinking water and soft drinks provided, with a little fridge between the back seats of the truck.

Asili worked with us to provide a tailor made safari and we travelled to Amboseli, followed by Tsavo East and Tsavo West. We have been on safari in Kenya many times before and this safari was a standout. We enjoyed every minute. Our guide, Martin, was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and gave us an amazing experience. Amboseli was the standout regarding the game we saw and we also had a fabulous view of Kilimanjaro one day, Kilaguni Lodge at Tsavo West was the best lodge as they have such an awesome waterhole and you can sit and watch the parade of visiting animals all day and night. Tsavo East had very little game when we were there but Satao Camp was great, very rustic and wild animals can move through the camp at any time as it is completely open. There water hole is also very good but you have to go up to their observation deck to appreciate it. All the recommendations came from Monica at Asili and she was invaluable.
At the end of our safari Martin drove us to our hotel at Diani Beach in less than 4 hours, by taking little known routes that avoided Mombasa - invaluable driver knowledge which we really appreciated.
We all give our safari 5 stars and would do it all again tomorrow if we could.

Asili Adventure was designated to us thru an agent @ African Budget Safari. We arranged our booking months in advance and we are quite satisfied with the prompt and effective communication of those involved. Shout out to Bronwyn, Monika for our awesome itinerary and the detailed trip information and updates; and to our safari tour guides in Kenya: Jimmy, and in Tanzania: Alex. We had a great time and we are hoping to be back soon !

Choosing to book our safari through a Kenyan company required a leap of faith on top of research. We took that leap with Asili, and it was the best decision we could have made.

Monica planned a trip that took account of our senior status by incorporating bush flights and ensuring that our accommodations (extremely comfortable) were centrally located. Communication was fast and on point. We were expected, met, and warmly welcomed everywhere we went. Monica put together a stellar mix of conservancies and national parks that showcased the best of those two very different experiences. Each was in different terrain, with habitats ranging from savannahs to woodlands to tropical forests.

With the help of two first-rate, eagle-eyed guides, Martin in Kenya and Omega in Tanzania, we saw close up all the animals we hoped for and more. Martin and Omega shared their vast knowledge, not only of the flora and fauna but also of the geographical formations that are so striking in the area.

Monica and company director Joyce monitored our tour in real time, so we felt extremely well looked-after. By booking with a local company, we eliminated the middleman. Those savings enabled us to stay in some of the most luxurious properties imaginable, most notably Leopard Hill in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, Lewa Safari Camp and Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge. We have traveled widely, but this really was the trip of a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend Asili Advanture Safaris to anyone hoping for an extraordinary experience.

Our entire tour with Asili and tour guide Martin was fantastic. Joyce from Asili was so accommodating when we missed our flight and changed the itinerary so we wouldn't miss a thing. Martin was such a good tour guide and showed us many amazing animals from dung beetles to leopards, lions hunting, and cheetahs with a baby. I would 100% recommend using Asili for your vacation!

I just came back from a 6 days trip to Maasai Mara arranged by Asili Adventure Safaris, and I highly recommend this company. This was my second trip with them. The booking process with Joyce and Monica was very efficient, and once I arrived, everything went very smooth as well. Stephen the Guide was great, excellent driver and also he knows the place very well, where to go to to look for the animals. Thank you for this amazing trip!
