The KBM was a very interesting museum, which provided a vivid trip through the history of Kenya and the dramatic and poignant story of Karen Blixen. Although her personal story has many peaks and valleys, she was loved by the local people and renown for...More

Decent historical view of the "old days" in Kenya. Tours of grounds are guided. Should read up on Blixen to fully appreciate.

This was a beautiful spot with a well informed guide. If you haven't seen the movie, Out of Africa, it is recommended viewing before coming to the Blixen Museum. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the house is interesting.

If u ve seen out of Africa and remember the story the guide will repeat what u already know There is nothing really interesting nor remarkable aside from the trees planted 100 years ago. Price ridiculously high for what is to be seen. Disappointing

Brilliant house, very informative tour, nice area to rest and soak up the atmosphere. It has a good shop too for some books and the CD. Expensive but worth it
