    Nice Trip to Moshi
I booked a trip with Impala shuttle and everything went well from start to finish. I arrived in Moshi for my next day Kilimanjaro climb safely. Would highly recommend for those travelling on shared bus to try them.

    Truly caring and hospitable
Made an order at a Cafe they stopped at and the card payment machine had a glitch/ bug in it but I had no cash. Keen and hungry for what I had ordered the leads helped me with the order and also then helped me with printing that was required for an "Evisa" at the border. You travel with these and you will be taken care of to a great level. 5 stars.

I booked seats on a shuttle from Nairobi to Arusha for me and my partner. The reviews on this site are not exactly what we experienced. Maybe we had some bad luck, but our trip was not that nice overall. It started off great. We arrived at the meeting point and someone was there to show us which bus we’d be on. We boarded the full bus and it was fine until the boarder.

I assumed we’d get some guidance about where to go, what to do, but our driver off doing something else and provide no guidance. We figured out the boarder with the help of some people who worked there, but some basic instructions before hand would have been nice.

After the boarder we had somehow picked up several new passengers, on an already full bus. Some people were clearly upset that they no longer had seats. The bus had fold-out seats that occupied the aisle, which had to be used. I ended up being squeezed by a new passenger in a fold out seat beside me.

We were also told that the bus driver could take us directly to our hotel, about 5 minutes away from the bus’s final destination. But this did not happen, despite the driver being told where to drop us off (by someone at the company) before we started. I think we were not the only ones.

Once the bus unloaded us, someone (i think with the company) helped us find a taxi, but still, we were told that wouldn’t be necessary.

Overall, we saved money based on flying, and I overall, the bus worked out, but it was not the most pleasant experience.

After the bus departed late, I was denied
entry at the Kenyan border and required an
extra 30 minutes after other guests for my
visa to be approved. Not only did the Impala
Shuttle abandon me, they did not even
inform me they were leaving. If you have
unanticipated problems at the border—yes, I
had a pre-approved visa to enter Kenya—Impala will turn your travel into a nightmare.

I am extremely happy with the prompt service provided by Impala Shuttles. The team has been exceptional in helping me at every point and in making quick arrangements for parcel pickup. They also inform me time to time about the updates regarding my packages from Nairobi to Arusha. I will choose Impala Shuttles once again when I'll have to make any international delivery.

They provide an excellent service on the Nairobi - Arusha - Moshi route. Buses (it was a small one in our case, as we were just a few passengers) are very clean, drivers are helpful with advice and check everything for passengers at the border, nothing is pushy. The place they start in Nairobi, in front of Parkside Hotel, is a bit shady, but they start during the day, so it is fine. One can book online and pay online, which makes things easier.

We booked a 6am shuttle from Moshi to Arusha, and it didn't arrive. The contact in Nairobi tried to find our driver, who continually said he was close by for around 3 hours! At around 9am, the driver arrived and told us he didn't have the car. Luckily, the company arranged a private transfer for us, but it was a very uncomfortable morning.
