Take a game drive and spot some of Kenya’s “Big Five” without truly leaving Nairobi on this experience. Ideal for those short on time in Kenya, this budget-friendly, half-day safari trip takes place in Nairobi National Park, a reserve close to the city where you can see lion, rhino, buffalo, cheetah, and more in the wild. A choice of departures and return hotel or airport transfers make everything extra easy.

Amani ya juu is a wonderful place! Starting with always so happy guard at the gate. Tastefull food at the restaurant and then the shop and Maggie ❤️ The best ever shopkeeper, she is probably the most caring shopkeeper in Nairobi. Always happy, always caring, always just so Maggie 😊❤️

The salad was rich, sumptuous and reasonably priced. The portions are generously served by friendly staff. Seating is outside and the greenery provides coolness in a business city . This is a must go place for everyone.

This is such a nice place to spend an afternoon. The crafts are beautiful, unique, and high quality. It's always nice talking to the staff, especially Maggie, with her contagious excitement. I was excited to see that the laptop bags are still there, since the one I bought 5 years ago was starting to get a bit frayed. This is a place where you can do 90% of your Christmas shopping in an hour, if you can avoid just trying on all the clothes. The cafe is also lovely. I enjoyed the salad, but the mexican soup was not quite right.

We visited this location and ate a very nice lunch here. There were several in our party and everyone ordered something different to eat. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was very good. The gardens where the outdoor dining is located is very restful and peaceful. After lunch we were given a short history of the gift shop and the women not only running the shop but making the merchandise for sale. These women are survivors from other countries. Well worth the stop even if you are not planning to dine.

My friends and I delighted in shopping at Amani ya Juu, where women live and create beautiful clothing, jewelry and other items. I did a lot of my souvenir (and some Christmas) shopping here. We then enjoyed a cup of coffee before heading to our next destination.
