This is one place that makes the goose bumps so worthy it. The spirit is the story behind the museum still lingers ans one cannot have enough of the history the place carry with it. its worth visiting and reliving the life of Karen Blixen once again.

This restaurant /bar is set in lovely surroundings and on a nice sunny day it is lovely to sit in the garden, The meal was really nice & well cooked, there is a large bar area with wide TV screen. Good parking and toilets.

Suggested by our driver after visiting elephant orphanage and Kazuri beads. We were muddy and dirty from the orphanage so truly appreciated the warm scented wash cloths.also appreciated the charcoal stoves brought to our table side to warm us. Very decadent compared to what we are accustomed to (either in the States or here in Kenya.)Food was very good. Cost... More

We visited yesterday for a relaxing late lunch. Gorgeous garden setting, tables well spaced out giving plenty of privacy. Varied menus with something for everyone. We we're served by Christine, she was warm and friendly. A really good find!

A nice garden location for lunch, especially when combined with a visit to the elephant orphanage. A good choice of light, snack or full lunch options, as well as yummy cakes etc.

I visited Karen Blixen Coffee Garden twice while in Nairobi for work in 2015. The food here was good but not great. For me, this was the case with most restaurants in Nairobi. However, there is more here than just food. The setting is beautiful. You can dine indoors or outdoors. I dined out doors on both visits. The grounds... More

Nice enough, but not s major highlight. A lot of interesting little details but not of great historical significance. I must confess, if it hadn't been for the movie Out of Africa, I wouldn't have bothered to come. I left with that same feeling: don't bother to visit if you hadn't watched (and enjoyed) the movie.
