Nice garden lunch location

A nice garden location for lunch, especially when combined with a visit to the elephant orphanage. A good choice of light, snack or full lunch options, as well as yummy cakes etc.

I visited Karen Blixen Coffee Garden twice while in Nairobi for work in 2015. The food here was good but not great. For me, this was the case with most restaurants in Nairobi. However, there is more here than just food. The setting is beautiful. You can dine indoors or outdoors. I dined out doors on both visits. The grounds... More

Had a wonderful lunch at the Coffee Garden after visiting the elephant orphanage and the giraffe center. The grounds are beautiful.

Nice enough, but not s major highlight. A lot of interesting little details but not of great historical significance. I must confess, if it hadn't been for the movie Out of Africa, I wouldn't have bothered to come. I left with that same feeling: don't bother to visit if you hadn't watched (and enjoyed) the movie.

Tasty food, gracious service in a lovely setting. We came here after visiting the Karen Blixen museum so we enjoyed the context (it was her first home). The food was very good, generous portions and fresh. Highly recommend...

Scrumptious setting and Sunday brunch not to be missed. Food was plentiful and good. You are surrounded by awesome art, and serene setting. The two shops have plentiful items to purchase.

This is a charming atmospheric restaurant but I didn't think the food was all that great and it was expensive. Wouldn't go back.

Lovely food on a veranda Delicious Peri Peri prawns, lovely crayfish. Service slow, but food was fabulous, colonial outpost, reminder of Kenya in the good old days.

Worth a stop by lunch and visit, but not sure if those who like lots of luxury would want to stay. Not far from the Karen Blixen Museum house.
