Alfred was a lovely guide from the very get-go. He picked our family up from our residence in Nairobi in his Safari car and drove us all the way to Mara Serena.
His deep knowledge of the history of the areas surrounding Mara, his knowledge of wildlife in and around the area and his pleasant disposition were the main highlights of the trip.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alfred and his team to carry you and your loved ones on the adventure of a lifetime.

We used Alfie Safaris for a bespoke Safari to the Mara to celebrate my birthday following a recommendation from a friend who had used Alfie Safaris in the summer. We were a group of 10 family & friends in two jeeps ranging from a 77 year old to a 17 year old. Alfred & Raymond were versatile & related well with the different age groups.
Alfred was extremely helpful from planning phase - six months prior - to final phase. He got us an excellent deal with the Serena Mara during what is often a high season. He was flexible, pleasant and had an excellent persona. As a result we became excellent friends. He wasn't intrusive but kept me updated severally on what to expect for the trip both before & during the trip.
Alfred and Raymond (our tour guides) were extremely knowledgeable about the park, animals & its flora and fauna making our experience great. They enjoyed the tour with us that I felt they were a part of the Safari.
I will definitely recommend Alfie Safaris and use them on my next trip.

Went in Safari to Tsavo E&W with Alfie & every part of it was organised very well from pick up to hotels to driver called Ali. Ali tried to get to all the spots to see the animals so we could take photos, we saw all the animals, except Think, cheetahs, leopard, hyenas but very satisfied with the tour. I lived every minute if it so make sure you take in safari!

My 3. safari with Alfred. This time in Tsavo East. Wonderful experience once again, with a higly qualified guide. We saw Lions, elephants, zebraes, giraffes and different antilopes. Next time we hopefully go to Amboseli. Thanks again for a wonderful safari and Your highly quality safari Alfred. Looking forward to next time.

We booked for a trip to the Maasai Mara. Alfred was professional and kept updating us every step of the way and helped us book decent accommodation in Nairobi before beginning the trip. The driver during the game drives was very helpful, knowledgeable and went to great lengths to ensure we had a rich experience of be Mara.

We had a fantastic time on our safari with Alfie. What struck me most about is the flexibility and willingness to adjust itineraries based on the customers input. For example, we wanted to add a visit to the elephant orphanage to the beginning of the trip, and he even organized and additional visit to the giraffe orphanage. The lodges we stayed at were first class, and the beach resort we spent the second week at was all inclusive. Alfie seems to have lots of connections to the other drivers. He always knew where all the interesting animals could be found, and we saw everything we had hoped to see and more. He speaks very good English as well as German. His prices are surprisingly reasonable when considering the quality of lodging and service. Most highly recommended.

This safari was SO affordable but there was no skimping on luxury. We visited three large national parks, saw every animal possible. We stayed in luxury 'tents'. And that was the first week. The second week we spent poolside at an all inclusive luxury hotel right on the beach in Mombasa. Alfie is kind and so knowledgeable, we learned not only about the animals and the parks but about Kenyan history and culture. We were able to tailor the trip to our own desires, there was never a problem if we wanted to adjust mid-trip. We encountered kindness and excellent service wherever we went. I cannot recommend this company enough. No doubt we got much more out of the trip given the owners and operators were all Kenyan nationals.

what a great Safari we had with our guide Alfred..he knows a lot and gave us many beautiful moments...next year together to Masai Mara, Alfred... We enjoyed Alfred... thank you very much for the great Safari, greetings Luc and Anna with the bazooka

Alfred was our driver and guide for a 5 day safari to Masai Mara and Nakuru.
We were very, very pleased with him:
- Nice and likable person
- Excellent English and good German
- Very good driver, we always felt very safe
- he always makes sure that everybody is feeling well and happy
- he is flexible to adjust the itinerary to meet the needs and wishes of our group during the trip
- knowledgeable about the country and all its animal - it is always very interesting to listen to him
- Alfred is very well connected, during the game drives he is constantly in contact with other guides and drove us to the most amazing scenes and animals - in 5 days we saw all big 5
I would definitely book him as tour guide again!

This is the third time we've been on safari with Alfred and we've recommended him to our friends. Alfred can help you organize a bespoke adventure with your price point in mind. He is so wonderful and natural with the kids. Our two have a great fondness for him. We've always been pleased to follow his advice as we plan our trip and we've been happy with the lodges he uses. He really enjoys his work and is very knowledgeable. He is easy to talk to and be around which is important when you spend so many hours in the car together. I highly recommend him and I know we will go on our next safari adventure with Alfred.
