As others have highlighted, Jane is an excellent tour organiser. Jane organised and reorganised our itinerary until it was 'just right'. And it was. Our driver was excellent, the lodges were excellent and the overall value, whilst not cheap, was also excellent. Before talking to Jane at Kenan travel, I played around trying to organised the lodges and stays on my own and got nowhere near the value Jane achieved for us.

Jane provided us with an amazing 8 day safari to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. The lodges were the best I could ever have hoped for within our budget. The food, service and accommodations were super. There were no surprises or disappointments. David, our guide was so good and we appreciate him so much. We sat for over an hour to watch a leopard nap, drink from the creek and climb up the tree where she'd left a wildebeest to eat more of it... while other groups drove up, shot pictures of her barely visible in the bushes and left. The same for sleeping lionesses another day, we were the only ones to see them wake up, sit up, yawn,stretch, etc. He seemed to not mind the long days needed to give us so many experiences that gave us many memories and pictures that we will enjoy forever!

Jane at Kenan Travels was an excellent tour organizer for my safari trip to Amboseli and Masai Mara. We started about 4 months before trips and even before things were confirmed, she worked very hard and faithfully with all my questions.
She included my preferences for specific lodges, and completely took care of all the logistics and details in Nairobi - which I used before and after safari as a staging stop (getting to know Kenya, getting the covid testing, etc). She was detailed and responded on time, and for the Nairobi location, was able to coordinate meals locations. She included the lunch into package - and I was stuffed at Carnivore. I had a personal driver for most of the day, and it was a great resource in a new city like Nairobi.
Whether if you know your preferences or you need someone to guide all the way, Jane at Kenan is reliable, honest and responsive. Good luck on your trip.

This was a bucket list holiday and as such we have been planning it for a fair while. We did loads of research in to companies who to go with and through many sites discovered Jane at Kenan Tours who was so highly praised. we eventually decided to go with them and It was the best decision we could have made jane was wonderful from the first moment and answered so many questions leading up to deciding our exact itinerary and once there met us personally kept checking we were all ok and when events changed she made the most of it including sorting out alternative accommodation at the last minute when the Kenyan government took our resort. I very highly recommend Jane and her team (Get Aggree for your driver if you can he is great Thank you ) when we go to Africa again we will use them every time Thank you

My confidence in using Kenans tour manager Jane to put together our fly in safari package to Basecamp Eagle view in the Naboisho Conservancy was fully justified after we enjoyed an amazing 4 day stay. From the early stages of letting her know what our preferences were Jane recommended Eagle view and it turned out to be the perfect choice. She was very professional and patient throughout our correspondence, always replying to my emails within a day and everything from the initial booking to meeting us in Nairobi was done without any problems. Thank you for a memorable safari package.

If you are reading my review, I can only advise you what I know or have been through.
If you are reading a lot of reviews in tripadvisor……still confused and don’t know where to start, my only advice is GO With a Trustable Operator and A Good Guide. I still stand by this Statement after my 1st Safari in Kenya.
We had a fantastic safari with Kenan Travel & Tours. Jane was very helpful and she organised our itinerary according to our needs. A month before our Safari was due to start, Nairobi was protesting (new tax imposed) and I wrote to Jane. She replied quickly and briefed us on the situation in Nairobi and advised us accordingly. Thanks, Jane
Jane is definitely a good operator. She is a good communicator and she adds a personal touch to her service by personally been present to welcome us and to brief us on the 1st day and she was there on our last day to check on us. She knows what she is doing. Good on you, Jane
We did 1 night in Lake Nakuru and 3 nights in Masai Mara. We were hoping to see The Big 5 and we weren't disappointed at all.
Edward, our guide, was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to secure good viewing spots for us to view The Big 5…..Hakuna Matata!!! We weren't disappointed at all with him……….had a great time and could not ask any more from him. That guy really worked hard for us. Hand on tight to your safety handles……………he will zoom to secure you the right and best viewing spot in the quickest time!
We will be back………..river crossing, please!

We booked our first ever Safari with Kenan travel and it was a great experience! They worked with us a lot during the planning stages to craft the best itinerary for our trip. They accommodated all the feedback I shared and helped us feel confident that we had the best plan for our budget and interests. Jane was extremely friendly, kind, and professional and we loved working with her.
We did a 6 night / 7 day safari across Amboseli, Mara, and Lake Nakuru.
All the transfers and accommodations were set up for us and when we arrived everything was ready as expected. From end to end we had a very smooth trip.
For part of the trip from Lake Nakuru back to Nairobi we worked with a guide from Kenan, David. He was great! He was friendly, very knowledgeable about the animals and the park, and a fantastic driver.

First of all, I fully believe in finding & supporting locally owned businesses and female ones at that.
Jane @ Kenan Travel helped me plan a truly special & memorable Father & Daughter Trip. This was a gift for my Dad who has had this on his dream/bucket list trip for years but didn't have the time to go.
The itinerary Jane made for us took into account what we wanted to see and our budget. She gaves us different options and provided in depth details. The itinerary was never final until we were completely happy with everything; changes were never a problem. Every detail was planned, down to the pick up and drop off to the airport.
I also liked that she never asked for the deposit until she made sure that all the accomodation reservations etc. were confirmed etc. Plus, the final cost was pretty good value in my opinion based some research.
Furthermore, I loved that there was such a personal touch to the service; Jane came to meet us upon arrival to go over the plan/details of our trip, and before departure to check in and get honest feedback about the guides and everything else. You can tell she is a kind, caring and genuine person. She really wants you to have a 5 star experience.
Overall, our trip was amazing! We had excellent guides (Evans & Roger) and we were able to see the Big 5, lions hunting & eating, many cubs, pups, and more live action unbelievable moments.... Different landscapes and culture.
Needless to say I can highly recommend Kenan Travel & Tours. Thanks again Jane for helping me make this such once in a lifetime trip for my Dad.

Jane was exceptional at responding to any and all inquiries. During our safari, she continued to be responsive through Whatsapp. We booked the 7-day Kenya-Tanzania loop from October 5-13, 2022, that included Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli. We highly recommend it. Each environmental was different, but the Serengeti was the highlight. We were lucky to have Stewart as our guide in the Serengeti and Samwell as our guide in Amboseli. Although each camp/lodge was great, we especially enjoyed Tortillis Camp and Ngorongoro Farmhouse.

Amazing safari in Masai Mara from this tour operator!
It was our first time to Kenya and at the begining there were just so many tours to choose from we had no idea where to start. We came across Kenan Travel & Tours who also offered us the best price compared to some other tours so went with them. I told them what i wanted and they responded quickly with it all planned out.
We were met upon arrival to begin our safari. We spent 3 nights at Masai Mara and saw every animal which we were hoping for. Seeing the big 5 in the first day.
Unfortunaltely we didnt see the wildebeest mara river crossing but our guide Evans certainly tried by taking us a few times and waiting patiently.
Overall this tour was perfect for us and if your looking for a safari i highly reccomend Kenan Travel and Tours

somo cuatro viajeras de Uruguay que llegaremos a Kenia en 15 días para realizar un hermoso viaje con vuestra empresa.
Tenemos una preocupación y tal vez uds,. nos puedan pasar más información al respecto, qué sucede con el ébola, por las noticias más confiables vemos que ha entrado a Kenia y Tanzania, casos aislados, cerca de las fronteras.
Sabemos cómo es, su contagio, síntomas, evolución etc.
En nuestro caso es necesario alguna prevención anticipada?

Great to hear from you, and looking forward to Welcome you in Kenya/ Tanzania very soon, as per your question you do not have to worry since in Kenya/Tanzania borders they are very alert to prevent any case of Ebora and the screening is very into details at all airport entry and the bounder too , At the moment no Ebora case has been reported in both Kenya and Tanzania.
