We asked Kenan Travel & Tours to organise a ‘Mid-range, 5-day Tanzania experience’ at short notice based around our tight travel schedule.
Our contact, Jennifer, designed an excellent holiday which included a 4-day safari and a 1-day cultural experience. The price included everything we required including transfers, accommodation, all meals and drinking water, 4X4 Land Cruiser with pop-up roof and park fees. Email communication with Jennifer was excellent throughout and payment was straightforward.
Our guide for the 5 days was George who met us at Kilimanjaro Airport off our early morning flight and drove us straight to Tarangire National Park for our first safari day. George’s knowledge of Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area was excellent. His driving experience in these vast, seemingly endless, parks was invaluable because he had no maps and we were dependent on his knowledge of the network of tracks to get us to the best wildlife viewing locations. We were soon ticking of all sorts of animals and birds and over the 5 days saw the ‘Big 5’ as well as dozens of other amazing animals and beautiful birds.
We stayed at 2 tented camps (Burunge and Katikati) and at both the service was friendly and welcoming, the accommodation excellent (huge beds, ensuite showers and toilets) and the food was tasty and plentiful. Our final night was spent at the beautiful Ngorongoro Farmhouse Lodge where most of the food served in the restaurant is grown on the farm and it was delicious.
If you are looking for a memorable Tanzania experience, I recommend Kenan Travel & Tours.

There isn't expressive words that can describe our experience with Kenan Travel & Tours. We ended up doing a 3 day fly-in safari to Masai Mara that was put together by Jane. It was beyond our expectations. Jane met us after the driver dropped us off at Air Kenya and went over everything, she was well organized, very friendly and had everything set for us. Basecamp Masai Mara is were we stayed and it was EXCELLENT! The food was fantastic, best food we had on our entire 18 day 4 country trip. The guides that were provided were amazing, they were nice, they were knowledgeable, they were skilled in the environment and adapting to crazy weather. We went with no expectations on what we would see on safari and we saw way more than we could of even imagined. We felt safe the entire time. I will recommend this tour company to all my friends and family, everything was perfect. Thank you Jane & Kenan Travel & Tours, made our anniversary perfect. If you are trying to decide what company to go with, stop, this is the one.

As part of our honeymoon we wanted to book a 3 day safari in Masai Mara. We came in contact with Jennifer at Kenan Travel and Tours, who left us with a very good first impression. Jennifer presented us with two different safari packages, that both met our requirements, and we decided to go with Mara Eden Safari Camp - and we couldn't be more satisfied!
When we arrived at the airport in Nairobi, we were met by Jennifer and our designated driver for the day. Since we had some spare time before our flight to Masai Mara, Jennifer suggested that we could visit the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. Such a wonderful experience! After spending a couple of hours feeding giraffes we were taken back to Wilson Airport for our flight to Masai Mara. At this point we learned that our flight had been cancelled, without letting Jennifer (or us) know, and we were afraid that we wouldn't make it to Masai Mara that day. However, Jennifer were very helpful as always and managed to book us to another flight an hour later, so that we could continue our honeymoon as planned.
Our experience in Masai Mara were truly amazing, all thanks to Jennifer and the rest of Kenan Travel and Tours who arranged everything. We highly recommend Kenan Travel and Tours to everyone who wants a unforgettable trip to Kenya and we will definitely use their services again. They were very professional and gave us a warm welcome which we will never forget. Thank you so much!

From first contacting Jane at Kenan Travel and Tours until we left Tanzania at the end of our holiday, we had a great experience. Jane listened to our wants and needs and organised our safari perfectly. She arranged for us to have Steven as our driver guide. We wanted to do birding and Steven knew a lot of the birds and had good eyes to find them. His knowledge of Tanzania and the history and facts of the parks were second to none and we learned a lot from him. The vehicle was comfortable and seemed well maintained. We stayed at Meru View Lodge, Sangaiwe tented camp and Country Lodge Karatu and all three were brilliant!
Thanks again Jane. We unreservedly recommend your company to anyone looking for an East African Safari at a good price.

Jane is wonderful. Traveling from NYC to Nairobi is a feat within itself - let alone 7 days and nights of safari. Jane met us in Nairobi before we set off, gave lots of information and remained helpful throughout our adventure. Stewart, our guide, was amazing. Kind, helpful, funny, and showed us things we’ve only seen on National Geographic. Accommodations are fabulous - I heard “tents” and was scared. Rest assured it’s a luxury experience with hot water, WiFi, and real toilets. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kenan (and already have!)

I just returned from a safari trip with Kenan Tours and it was incredible. They had every detail accounted for and Jane made sure our experience was everything we could have asked for. Our guide Stewart in Tanzania was phenomenal- his experience and knowledge made it a trip we will remember for a lifetime!

Jane was exceptional at responding to any and all inquiries. During our safari, she continued to be responsive through Whatsapp. We booked the 7-day Kenya-Tanzania loop from October 5-13, 2022, that included Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli. We highly recommend it. Each environmental was different, but the Serengeti was the highlight. We were lucky to have Stewart as our guide in the Serengeti and Samwell as our guide in Amboseli. Although each camp/lodge was great, we especially enjoyed Tortillis Camp and Ngorongoro Farmhouse.

As others have highlighted, Jane is an excellent tour organiser. Jane organised and reorganised our itinerary until it was 'just right'. And it was. Our driver was excellent, the lodges were excellent and the overall value, whilst not cheap, was also excellent. Before talking to Jane at Kenan travel, I played around trying to organised the lodges and stays on my own and got nowhere near the value Jane achieved for us.

My confidence in using Kenans tour manager Jane to put together our fly in safari package to Basecamp Eagle view in the Naboisho Conservancy was fully justified after we enjoyed an amazing 4 day stay. From the early stages of letting her know what our preferences were Jane recommended Eagle view and it turned out to be the perfect choice. She was very professional and patient throughout our correspondence, always replying to my emails within a day and everything from the initial booking to meeting us in Nairobi was done without any problems. Thank you for a memorable safari package.

Jane at Kenan Travels was an excellent tour organizer for my safari trip to Amboseli and Masai Mara. We started about 4 months before trips and even before things were confirmed, she worked very hard and faithfully with all my questions.
She included my preferences for specific lodges, and completely took care of all the logistics and details in Nairobi - which I used before and after safari as a staging stop (getting to know Kenya, getting the covid testing, etc). She was detailed and responded on time, and for the Nairobi location, was able to coordinate meals locations. She included the lunch into package - and I was stuffed at Carnivore. I had a personal driver for most of the day, and it was a great resource in a new city like Nairobi.
Whether if you know your preferences or you need someone to guide all the way, Jane at Kenan is reliable, honest and responsive. Good luck on your trip.

somo cuatro viajeras de Uruguay que llegaremos a Kenia en 15 días para realizar un hermoso viaje con vuestra empresa.
Tenemos una preocupación y tal vez uds,. nos puedan pasar más información al respecto, qué sucede con el ébola, por las noticias más confiables vemos que ha entrado a Kenia y Tanzania, casos aislados, cerca de las fronteras.
Sabemos cómo es, su contagio, síntomas, evolución etc.
En nuestro caso es necesario alguna prevención anticipada?

Great to hear from you, and looking forward to Welcome you in Kenya/ Tanzania very soon, as per your question you do not have to worry since in Kenya/Tanzania borders they are very alert to prevent any case of Ebora and the screening is very into details at all airport entry and the bounder too , At the moment no Ebora case has been reported in both Kenya and Tanzania.
