Overview
The Maasai Mara is a large game reserve in South-West Kenya. The name is derived from the Maasai people and the Mara River which divides it into eastern and western parts. The extensive savanna grassland in between the rolling hills hosts a large variety of wild animals. Every year about 2.5 million wildebeests and hundred thousands of zebras wander through the Masai Mara between the months of June and October on their Great Migration between the Serengeti National park in Tanzania and Masai Mara in Kenya. This spectacle has recently been declared the 7th natural world wonder. Masai Mara is a permanent home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, antelopes and around 400 species of birds among many others.
Sentrim Mara Lodge is located adjacent to the Maasai Mara Game reserve, 3 km from Sekenani gate. The entire camp is spread over 100 acres of tranquil natural vegetation. .

The safari experience was really good. We had a really good driver/guide who knew a lot about the animals and he made us feel safe. We did a two day safari-tour with one night sleep at the Manyatta camp at Maasai mara. The camp and the tent are really clean and nice, and the park was also really good. We also got to visit the maasai tribe for USD 30$ extra and it was a really good experience and I really recommend it. I really recommend traveling with Elida Tours, both for their good prices and excellent service.…

We had a great trip with David and Elizabeth’s company. We paid half the cost up front and the rest at the time. We were picked up from our hotel on time, our guide, Josfat, was a careful driver and very knowledgable regarding the animals we saw during our game drives. The accommodation at Kilima Lodge was excellent and so close to the park entrance. Elephant, gazelle and bird life were in abundance. David even organised to drop us back to the airport when heading home.…

My experience with Elida tours exceeded my expectations . We booked a 10 day safari tour around Kenya and had the absolute time of our life. Now there are plenty of safari tours to book from, but here is what made Elida exceptional. Elizabeth was our point person and we had a group of 10 who wanted to make sure they hit all the must see sights in Kenya. Elizabeth took the time to put together a very custom trip that was able to address all our needs. She went out of her way to make sure that each trip detail was met with great precision. From the resorts we stayed in to the transportation arrangements, no detail was spared. She arranged airport pick up for all the members, even the members who arrived late in the night. She also arranged all our departure arrangements. Then David the company director, personally picked up each member from the airport, while assisting with details like clearance, currency exchange, getting access to Kenya cell phone sim cards; all the details that make a difference in a foreign country. Also David would make it a point to communicate and be in constant contact with every resort we were staying at to make sure all our accommodation needs were being met. Also making sure that we had proper vehicle for our safari excursions and well trained drivers knowledgeable drivers who made for excellent tour guides. All these small details made a huge difference in our safari travel experience and that is exactly what you need when traveling to a foreign country. I highly recommend Elida tours and their prices are pretty fair for the quality experience you get. Thank you again David and Elizabeth and the staff at Elida for helping us have the trip of a lifetime!!!…
