Excellent service and car up to expectations

We rented a RAV4 for a bit more than a week as part of a trip in Kenya to Amboseli and the Naivasha area. We were dealing with Wachira and he was prompt to respond to our messages and provide answers to our questions.
We really appreciated that the car was dropped off directly at our hotel, at the time we had requested. The car was very confortable and other then the aircon that was on and off (but about to be repaired as we understood), it provided full satisfaction during the full length of our trip. Moreover, we thought the rate very fair. Should we travel back to Kenya, we would definitely rent a car again with Porto.

Toyota Hilux 4x4 exzellent Service!

We rented a Hilux 4x4 from Peterson for 4 days. The car was in good condition, everything as promised. Communication with Peterson was easy, replied always quickly. He delivered the car in the morning to our Hotel in Nairobi and picked it up in the end from our Hotel. He was very flexible with the pick-up time and place which was very covenient for us because we didnt have to be in a hurry on our way back. We went on self-drive safari going from Nairobi to Masai Mara and than Lake Nakuru. We would definitively recommend a car from around this Size and a 4x4 for this because roads in the parks can quickly get flooded and u need a 4x4 to not get stuck. Also roads between the city are quite bumpy and a Lot of construction work so a little bigger car is more comfortable. So thisone was perfect for our Trip!

Great car, great service

Rented a Toyota Rav4 for one month and was very happy both with the reliable car we received and with the responsive service from Peterson. The four of us drove it everywhere across Kenya for 4 weeks (with no driver) and never had a single problem. Peterson also made dropping off and picking up the car very easy. I would not hesitate to use this rental service again.

Excellent Service

Words could never do justice to the excellent service we received from Porto car Hire and how grateful we are for the service.

My husband and I rented a RAV4 for a little over 20 days. The price was very fair and more so made suitable for us due to how long we were going to keep the car. Felix was exceedingly professional, he was patient and reliable. Just amazing service! Our flight landed at JKIA at approximately 6.30 am, Felix was at the airport waiting for us as promised. The car was clean and in great condition. He gave my husband tips on how to manage driving in Kenya as he was to be the main driver. He gave us tips on places to visit. In the course of our trip we thought the AC wasn't working, upon calling Felix he said he would meet with us and check it out, which he did; furthermore, he worked around our schedule.

We also caused some scratched on the car, Felix was flexible with that after we showed them to him.

On the date of departure, due to needing rapid COVID tests 4 hours before boarding. There was a lot of uncertainty, especially on timing the return of the car, our flight was at midnight. Felix met us at the airport and waited until we got our COVID results to be certain everything was for good check-in. He patiently waited until we were good to fly back to the USA.

If this is not an A+ service, I do not know what is.

Thank you very much! We will definitely be using Porto Car Hire in the future and recommend it to friends and family.

I rented a Toyota RAV4 for a week from Porto Car Hire Kenya. Everything was great. I talked on Whatsapp with Wachira before arriving in Kenya. He waited for us at the airport to pick up the car when the plane landed. Wachira was such a nice guy. It was my first time in Kenya and I got some very useful tips from him. I needed a RAV4 because I was going on some very tough roads to photograph at the WRC Safari Rally near Naivasha lake. The car was in great condition and I had no problems with it. At drop-off Wachira was already waiting for me in front of the airport parking when I returned. I really hope the Safari rally will take place again next year because it was amazing and I will for sure get in touch with Wachira when I return to Kenya.

Porto Car hire Kenya indeed delivered.
Customer care was impeccable,Vehicle was delivered in time and on its utility it was well serviced and so comfortable.
We drove with a pregnant lady who literally enjoyed the drive as the seat was so friendly for adjustment.
I would totally recommend since the Porto staff are so approachable and friendly.

I spent many hours looking for rental car companies in Kenya. At the end and after all the research I decided to try Porto Car Hire because the price was really good and all the good reviews that I readed. Two days ago I gave car back to Waschira (the contact person from the company) and I want to share that everything that I readed was right. Trustful company, good price, good communication and overall very good service. If you are planning to visit Kenya as it was my case and you are looking for rent a car I highly recommend Porto Car (Waschira).

Rav 4 - great car and great service

We rented Toyota Rav4. The car was clean and in good condition. Reasonable price. Great customare service. We traveled to Hells Gate, Lake Nakuru and Ol Pejeta and didn't have any trouble with the car. I absolutely recommend Porto Car Hire Kenya, we had a great experience and if we ever comeback to Kenya, we will rent a car from them again.

Peter, no words can express the excellent and competent service you offered during the 2week period we hired your car. On time both drop off and pick up. Always responded to my messages almost immediately. Had a problem with the lights and Peter was at the hotel as early as 7am to pick the car and take it to the garage and brought it back on time as not to interfere with my day plans. I would definitely recommend him and will definitely be using him again the next time I am in Nairobi.

I was very satisfied with Porto Car Hire Kenya service when I rented a car from them to drive up to Mount Kenya for a few days end of February 2020. We were a bit unlucky having an issue with the car but at such moments service really makes the difference. Ndegwa drove up to Nyeri with a replacement car and we were only impacted by having to extend our lunch at the Outspan hotel a bit, but that is a beautiful place to hang out anyway. Will certainly rent again from them on my next trips and do highly recommend using them!
