If you are looking for the most flexible and ajile service provider, which is capable to work for you in Keniya AND Tanzania - look no more :-). These guys are amazing: open minded, always available online, always on top of things, always willing to accommodate any changes in itinerary .... no hidden costs, willing to work within your budget.
I encourage you to reach out to them and go over all details before the trip: ask as many questions you want and share your expectations. This way you both will be on the same page. Wi did exactly that and had one of the best 2 weeks of vacation.

Had a one day window on a work trip to Nairobi. Decided on Nairobi national park and engaged absolute safaris. Immediately contacted us via mail outlining the day. We departed the next day (Saturday) at 5.30 am and made it to the park within 15 mins. The driver and guide Johnathan was excellent. He had patience and seemed to instinctively know where the animals were to be found. By 1200 we had seen the majority of animals including some close encounters with some of the big 5. It was all we had hoped and more. All back in time for lunch! Once in a lifetime, in one morning.

The star of the company is definitely David. Fantastic organisation and very responsive. I joined a 12 days group joining safari as a solo traveller.
I spent the first 7 days in Kenya with Sammy who is a great driver and a knowledgable guide. The national parks were awesome, especially hell's gate national park where we cycled in the park among the animals. Food is pretty decent but not much option available. Do prepare yourself for long drives as the roads close to the national parks are usually not paved and the distance between the park is long.
Next 5 days were spent in Tanzania with the tour operator, 7 wonders. Serengeti and ngorongoro crater were amazing. Lots of wildebeest and zebras in serengeti in December as they have moved from Masai Mara. Lake manyara was a little disappointing as the one of the road was closed due to rainy season. I would suggest to spend more time in serengeti. As I was a solo traveller, I was placed into a different group on the last day.
Accommodation was either lodge or hotel in Kenya. I slept in tents in Tanzania at campsite which had hot showers.
Crossing the border is pretty easy but the queue can be long. Be prepared to change and wait for buses. And make sure you check with the tour operators on the transportation arrangement 1 to 2 days earlier. There was some confusion on my return trip to Kenya from Tanzania but it was handled very well by David on a very short notice.
David is a trustworthy man and operator. He was very professional. I appreciate his help greatly. =)

We went on this safari and it was really great. We saw 4 of the big 5 (no leopard) and many more animals. Guide and driver Jackson was really good and he got us as close to the animals as possible. He was very well acquainted with the area and knew all whereabouts blinfolded.
Only cons were that for most of the safari we were 8 in the van and in the last days we were 9 ppl so not everyone had access to the rooftop. At the back we could not all stand up at the same time cause it was crowded (3 on the back seats) Camps are good but electricity in miti mingi camp was available only at certain hours. Food was really tasty but the menu was similar every day and towards the end of the safari we needed a change of menu. Masai Mara was the best so if you have less days going there is enough. Honestly there s a lot of driving to get from one park to another so if you really get annoyed in a car, 3 days in Masai Mara is enough. BUT you see Rhinos only in Nakuru. Amboseli was nice too but we just saw more elephants and giraffes and gazelles which we had already seen before. Masai village was really interesting too (10 dollars extra). If you go, take some gifts for the kids....the smile on their face is worth it. I didn't know so I just gave them my lunch but they were so happy sharing it. Despite its cons I still loved this safari.

Hello Cynthia
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us and giving other travelers looking for a great trip some information they can rely on. Concerning the Amboseli part we really apologize and we have put measures to make sure same mistake will not be repeated in our operations.
Concerning the meals we are also trying to change what is really supplied to the camp and now we are sure no more cons.
Thanks in advance, we took all the points seriously and we are ready to give clients satisfaction.
with kind regards
david

my husband and I went on a 6 day safari in Dec 2017. Being Christmas and peak period, UK tour operators were charging an extortionate amount for a 2 week Kenya holiday with a safari and beach break. I decided to put the entire package together myself and successfully booked it for 1/2 the price.
I found Absolute Holiday safari's on 'Book all safari's.com'
I dealt with David via e-mail. H replied promptly, and the cost was very competitive compared to other safari companies I had been recommended.
The safari I saw on their weblink was a 6 day safari, with budget tented accommodation, so I asked for upgrades to mid range, which they did for me and were still cheaper than the other companies.
I stayed in the accommodation I paid for which was exceptionally good. We saw all the 'Big 5' and much more. no complaints and would recommend them to other customers.

This was a great budget company to use. The planning from Nairobi was done so well and we were given everything we were promised plus more. Our guide Richard was a great guy who was easy to get along with, laid back and eager to make sure we had a good experience . In Masai Mara we were out on the main days game drive for 11 hours- it was beyond our expectation. The accommodation is very basic but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had hot showers wherever we went. The food is simple and similar every day but tasty and great to experience local food. I would definitely recommend this company. Trustworthy and good value for money!

I had my very first safari experience with Absolute Holiday Safaris. It was wonderful 8 days of Safari in Kenya and Tanzania and they arrange all the things for me from a to z.
Our guide in Kenya was Geofrey and in Tanzania was Philbert. Both of them are excellent!!! They are knowledge and professional! Thanks to them, I got all the big five animals (even the leopard, 2 times!!!) and also many other animals. I hadnt expected my first safari experience would be this perfect!!! Also other staff of the company, they are all nice and reliable.
I would like to book tour here again for my next Safari experience. Hope to be with Absolute Safari Holiday again soon!!!

We booked with Absolute Holiday and were sceptic about the budget option but now we can say that we made the best decision. We went for the 13 days Kenya and Tanzania safari. David was extremely prompt in responding to all questions we had and clearing all doubts.
Once in Kenya, everything was spot on, right from the airport pickup, hotel pickup for start of the safari, the safaris themselves. The team is very professional and will go to every limit to accommodate the guest's requests. All our stays were very comfortable. Our guide was Samuel who was with us the entire time in Kenya. He has extensive information on the animals and their behaviour. Because of his expertise and patience, we could watch a lot of animals and their activities. All connections between the national parks and facilities were perfect and we never had any reason to complain. They also arranged our connection to Tanzania and when we were back for our flight home, they provided the same level of professional service till the last moment.
We will recommend the team and their service to everyone. If you want an unforgettable experience without having to sell your organs with the branded companies, Absolute Holidays is your friend.

We got the contact of Absolute Holiday from one of our friends. They had a nice experience. So, without hesitation we opted for them. The decision was really good. The overall package was reasonable and their arrangements were extremely good. We visited Masai Mara, Amboseli, Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. It was a memory of lifetime. They took care of our tours and security. Will definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

I took a 3 day safari by myself to Mara Masai through this company. I got a great rate. The safari guide Jackson was excellent. He had roughly 14 years of experience and he really was knowledgeable of the park. He led a great safari and we ended up seeing most of the big 5 by lunchtime of our first full day on safari. The only issues were that the accommodations were shared and electricity and water (supposedly hot water but mine never worked) were only available for a short period of time in the camp (not communicated). There were no charging outlets available in the rooms so there was rush to use the limited outlets in the dining area during breakfast and dinner. The food was good throughout the safari . We had meals in restaurants on the way there and back. All other meals with the exception of lunch during the full Safari day were at the camp. Lunch during the safari day was a packed lunch with a sandwich, chicken, juice and fruit.
