We were a family of five and had a great experience with this company, definetly one of the better ones in Kenya. Been with two other companies on safari before and its not comperable at all. Big thanks to you guys and especially thanks for the way your team treated the children 😊

Hope to come back soon!

We had James Omondi to pick us up late at night when we arrived in Nairobi travelling with bus from Tanzania. He took real good care of us trough the days that we stayed in Nairobi, always ready with suggestions about things to do and see. I can surely recommend the service from this friendly guy.

Omg what an amazing experience that was. The orphanage does wonderful work caring for these African beauties. We got to meet, touch and take pics of the elephants do close up. They bring out the elephants once a day for an hour and the elephants are comfortable with human interaction. This is absolutely worth a trip when going to Nairobi. I also adopted a baby elephant by the name of Kerrio:) you can’t help but fall in love with them.

So I found an opportunity to visit beautiful Tanzania and Kenya with the help of Africa Safaris. What a great experience. I saw the real value of having experienced tour guides. They selected one of the coolest places I wanted to be in Tanzania and Kenya. They selected one of the best hotels I wanted to be (very cheap and cosy hotels indeed). For a few days, I was in Kenya and Tanzania, I earned great experience and enjoyed to the fullest my visit

For a once in a lifetime adventure, an African safari can't be beat! Stalking wild animals (with cameras only) during the day and living in deluxe accommodations at night could be the adventure of your life.

I have made two trips to Kenya and Tanzania expertly guided by Adventurer Explorer Africa (a rather cumbersome name) and would love to return. I would definitely contact James Omandi at AEA for my next trip. I went there to photograph the animals and fell in love with the people and the countries. Oh, I got some good pictures as well. There are many options on planning how "rough" or how "luxurious" your safari can be. It is designed solely to your wishes.

The time of year will dictate the type of clothing to bring. Remember, you'll be in East Africa, near the equator. The dry season can be quite warm and the wet season surprisingly cool (and wet). I've been in the dry and wet season for a month each and can't choose a favorite. Kenya and Tanzania are still safe for tourists (can't vouch for other countries). One must always be alert however and be respectful of the inhabitants. Expect to be very warmly welcomed.

Last October, I had my family visiting Kenya... We had the idea to go on a safari from Nairobi to the coast, Mombasa. James proposed a trip adapted to our need and our budget, and we went to enjoy the beauty of Amboseli, spotting wildlife, with the Kilimanjaro in the background. Then, we went to Tsavo, where we could spot lots of bush animals. James dropped us on time at the Voi train station where we could continue our journey to Mombasa. We highly appreciated James professionalism, and his capacity to take into consideration all our wishes.

I am from the UK but a regular visitor to Kenya. I have known James Omondi since 1993. Over the years I have returned to Kenya around 30 times.

James is always there to meet me. He arranges everything from transport, accommodation and safaris. He is an excellent driver, both road and safari. What he doesn't know about nature and wildlife isn't worth knowing. It's really great to go off grid with a local who is reliable and knowledgeable.

James is also a trusted friend who has always looked after me, my wife and our friends. A true gentleman.

Highly recommended.

James, thanks for everything so far. See you again in August!

James was the perfect guide from start to finish. I visited Kenya in December of 2016 for three weeks with my partner Nancy who is Kenyan. We were put in touch with James through Nancy's family. James picked us up at the airport and drove us to all of our destinations while we were in the country, save for a trip to Mombasa, which we flew to. Our trip included time in Nairobi, the Masai Mara, and Western Kenya near Kisumu.

Every part of the trip went very well. James provided excellent recommendations all along the way.

The safari tour in the Masai Mara was an incredible highlight. We stayed within the park. James and a colleague of his took us on safari drives each day and they knew their way around the park very well. We saw each of the "big 5", which is by no means guaranteed: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and water buffalo; plus much more! We were there just for a few days and I could easily spend months there. Something new every day.

We hope to come back and we will definitely look to James and Adventurer Explore Africa as our guide again. Many thanks to them for the amazing experience.

This was the third or fourth time I have used this business and I have never been disappointed.
James met us at the airport, with an optional Tusker, and then drove us to our hotel. The hotel was the Ole Sereni on the outskirts of Nairobi National Park and it was excellent; to have breakfast watching whatever animal appears is great, in our case giraffes.
James then arranged an early morning safari where we lucky enough to see lions right beside the trail as well as the more common animals.
James also arranged outings to the giraffe Park and elephant sanctuary, all of which were great.
James also arranged trips to Lake Navasha where we watched the hippos.

All in all, James and his team have excellent organisation, courteous and great at what they do.
Highly recommended.

I have had a very nice journey with Africa Adventurer visiting four national reserves in Kenya. They were very flexible and bringing a lot of fun, also delegating to partners of trust even when I decided to extend my trip to Zanzibar. Someone is always taking care of you when you come out of the plane or bus, good accomodation and prices. I really recommend their services!!!
