The picture is misleading

The village market was more shopping mall and less Masai market as the photo leads you to believe. I went there twice, the first to be disappointed with what I discovered and the second to visit a specific store that had tucked tshirts aside for me based on an online inquiry. If you want the Masai market experience don’t go here looking for it.

Even Better than before
Jun 2021
I've recently been to Village Market and have to say that it's continued to improve despite the threat of Covid-19. I particularly love the new wine shop.

Noisy because of incredible Big works on the roof. I’ve contacted management and said they can’t do anything about it. VM should be closed for Works while they want to have the money, the customer headache and their works. AVOID village market

Fantastic Mall
Mar 2020
After living for over seven years in Nairobi, I discovered the Village Market by accident. I was quite impressed by the food court and all the upmarket stores. It is without a doubt the finest mall in East Africa.

Refreshing place

There’s something about this mall that makes it stand apart from other shopping malls in terms of its overall design and layout. It’s beautiful. The decor is simply superb and each section looks different. With many options for entertainment food and shopping, it’s a must go.
Only thing perhaps I missed is a cinema.

The Village Market at Nairobi is worth to visit, this market have a unique design with indoor & outdoor areas.
A lot of shops and different types of restaurants. There is also a Carrefour Supermarket for people who wants to do grocery or get other stuff.
I do recommend to visit this place between noon time and evening time to enjoy the place in both times and see it with the lights.

Celebrated my birthday at the Village Market bowling alley and had an absolute blast. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We greatly enjoyed pool, foosball, bowling and use of the private event rooms. Highly recommend it

Invigorating Venue
Dec 2019 • Family
An excellent place to chill...socialise...meet and greet and much more.
A vibrant venue with cosmopolitan mix of humanity with a happy and cheerful vibe.
Loads of food varieties at the food courts along with some up.market lounges n fine dine eateries. Lovely coffee areas and chocolate bars along with great shops with some very good up market gift items all under one roof. Supermarkets also exist so a quick.purchase is possible
A bowling alley with busy youngsters trying their skills is also a point of interest for families visiting with teenagers
I would indeed recomend this venue to all visitors.

Visit to The Village Market
Nov 2019 • Friends
The Village has been renovated and has some lovely S African shops. The Maasai Market is every Friday. Beautiful stuff but more pricey than at the other Maasai markets as its close to the UN and lots of UN staff visit on Fridays. You can get the same stuff at the junction on Thursdays and cheaper. Always bargain at a much lower price.
