No ramps to new parking - only stairs. What to do if you have full trolleys? Post office boxes moved - no one could tell me where to. Lovely trees all cut down and is now a concrete wasteland. What a shame. Nothing villagey or markety about this shopping Centre.

The atmosphere at the village market on new years day 2017 was awesome! the band( whose name i momentarily) forget was soo awesome.. great voices, great instrumentalist and the the lead singer acting as his own hype man was great! The Sangria was from one of the restaurants was nothing to look forward to but the music made the bland... More

Village Market Nairobi is a luxurious shopping center of western style with expensive and modern shops. It is located in Gigiri residential area near United Nations Crescent and US Embassy, 10 km away from city center, across Nairobi River, at the back of Karura Forest on Limuru Rd. It is in fact a large shopping and recreational and entertainment complex.... More

The place looks nice, but trip advisor should update the information. It shows that it's open until 11 pm and when we got here at 7 pm the only thing open was the food court. Local market is only on Fridays. Trip advisor please update information

It is all about expectations! We were there yesterday after freeing up a couple hours from our work schedule. I was expecting a traditional market with local vendors with local wares who'd haggle over prices. This is really a conventional outdoor mall with a mix of local stores, international (BOSE audio) and services (music lessons, interior design). NO price negotiations... More

A great place for Shopping and Lunch. Good quality stores with local products too. The Art Cafe restaurant offers some great dishes and drinks too. The Maasai market is around the corner and opens on Friday, but i recommend going with someone that knows because prices can get ridiculously expensive if vendors see you are a tourist.

Very safe place to hang around. The ArtCafe is a very chic place any time of the day. Missing a cinema desperately otherwise would've been perfect. Food court is great especially Orchid, Thai Village and Khazana Food court shut by 9 so do make it in time.

I come here often for shopping but also for lunch. There's a good selection of food from around the globe. Also, you will find the best butcher in town here (prime cut), hair salons, Nairobi sports house, health shop, a book shop and also art galleries.

Village market is one of the most safest places in Nairobi, as I could experience it. I was misguided and I thought it is a market like Massai Mara. It is really overpriced and some of the big brands seemed fake as well. The food court is well equipped and the Noodles bar ( cannot recall the name of it... More
