A pleasant morning. After wandering around the shops - lots of high end outlets here, we had a memorable lunch, really fabulous roti from an Indian restaurant in the food mall, freshly cooked loaded with fresh herbs and spices - absolutely superb. Sadly we missed the Masai market which i believe is worth a trip. Try it out.

Visited whilst in Nairobi. Worth a stop off, food court is really good, good choice, great coffee and mix of cafe's too. Shops - ecletic mix of inexpensive and expensive gift shops and lovely jewellery shops.

I love this place and love going around the shops there and restaurants. It allows you to enjoy your shopping, especially if you go on Friday when they have the Masai market opened on that day and after you finish shopping, you can eat at any of the good restaurants there: fast food and fine dining restaurants. It has a... More

Village market is a beautiful shopping centre. It has lots of places to eat with outdoor seating. It is a lively environment which is beautifully decorated. You will also find a variety of shops and service providers. Certainly worth a visit.

The Village market is an uptown market with a good choice for shops and things to select from, Their food court is quite alright but could do better, mouth watering sandwiches and snacks. Good for lazy family afternoon, a nice hangout with friends and subtle evening with a loved one.

Great food and everything you need under one roof. I really liked the food court with the choices you have and I also like the variety of shops within the mall. Only downfall is parking in a little crazy and you have to pay for it.

Great selection of shops and restaurants. Some of our favorites are the bookstore, the toy store, MAC and the cigar shop! We also like to visit the rotating art gallery.

Village Market is very popular with embassy and UN staff, though is located well away from downtown NBO. The food court is poor, and the craft shops tend to be very gimmicky (and priced to reflect this). Parking can also be difficult during the weekend.

We've checked most of them out. Yaya, Westgate, Sarit etc. The Village Market has by far the best supermarket, butchers, deli, and vegetable stores we have found so far in Nairobi. If anyone has any other suggestions please share. The food court offers plenty of variety and there are other nice restaurant options too to enjoy before stocking up on... More
